A meet closer to here would be great Woodstock is a pretty good area for meets, lots of good cars around around there too
hmm a 285 cruise that would be the sex! but problem is on the NE side of 285 is alot of popo. infact 285 is littered with the 5.0..... just saying. Good idea and would be alot of fun. but people need time to save up ticket money. because I'm sure some of you would drive over the 55 mph speed limit thats 285 currently has....

^^^ I like that idea and in the Epic GA cruise/meet I am pondering, I thought about using 285.
It would be cool to do a complete loop around the perimeter (if we go the limit, pics could be easily taken). Get off at every other exit, switch camera guy to another car, journey on. When we get back to I-85, head south to the V.

Actually, the 285 loop would be pretty bad ass. But it would be hell once we get near the dekalb area. Popo and all. But I ain't scurd. Even a cruise down 85 would be cool as well.
I think we're missing the point of the whole idea around the I-285 Cruise. Cruise notates an easy going pace. No need to speed. Hell if we want good pics, the slower the better. That way the photographer can steady themselves better. Just don't be passing folks like 2 Fast 2 Furious and we shouldn't attract attention.
This idea works best if someone has a convertible that they don't mind not getting any pictures of. We also need folks who know how to work cameras so that you get the blurred wheel effect. I thought I knew how but I was way wrong.
I'm in. I'll be in Orlando next weekend so I'm out for those days.

and sumi, can you try and get me the hook up on some cheap discount tires, even used as long as they are alright.. i'm sitting on some 16 inch rims, and I think its a 265 75 r16 but it may be a lil different, I'll get exact sizes later tomorrow, or if anyone knows of a good place for discount or cheap good used tires, I'm broke like whoah! and I have to get some tires asap!
