votes bloodline should be a mod.
Jay, my del sol will be painted Electron pearl blue or "super sonic pearl blue" coming up shortly. Got a guy giving me an awesome deal. Thinking later on of painting the engine bay a bronze color... not sure about the bay yet though...
Whatever color you go with, make sure it's something you can stand looking at every day. lol
^^^I'm not top notch either... hence the "ASAP" in my signature. lol
Yes sir, always does. What motor you working with?
I'm workin on a. Ls....I'm gonna rebuild the whole motor and boost it...I'm
Still undecided on what kinda pistons to use.......this gonna be my first turbo build
Wiseco?
What kind of compression you going to be running?
thats the thing im not to sure what kinda compression to run..i dont want it to low..yet i dont want it to high and risk blowing my motor..im still very fresh when it comes to boosting a motor..its easy for some ppl just to get new pistons and rods..for a bottom end..but im tryin to see what will give me more power..and yet be reliable ..this is what i do all night..stay up and read about motors lol
Lower compression will give you more power in boost, but will lag more (depending on build) I think 8.5:1 or 9:1 would be a good medium for you. Won't lag too much, but will hit boost hard. Now, on the other hand... A few people I know with DSMs are running 11.5:1 compression on 20 psi but tuned on E85, it allows for higher boost on a higher octane without detonation... But, it all depends what you want. A GOOD tune will help in the reliability of whatever you go...
With my H22 bottom end, I plan on going 9:1 compression. With that and the displacement of the motor itself, it spools quickly and has a little more torque, but is still great when in boost. (for those who are going to tell me h22 are bad for boost, the block I am looking at is already sleeved and has forged internals)
I agree with the 9:1 compression. my red teg is boosted with cp pistons and 9.75:1 compression. the block has been sleeved and all and has been tuned up to 28psi safely. BTW I'm working with LS's too. they make CRAZY torque!!(but traction sucks!!) lol
thanks for the tips fellas..^^ 28psi?..on wut kinda motor? i was always a n/a kinda dood.. but my new years resolution was to go boost this year since ive been stressed..but ya know what??
a little boost can make it all better....
its a b18b. its been bored over (84mm) and sleeved by golden eagle. and boost is amazing, once it spools lol
so guys
i just traded my jeep for a 93 prelude si!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet ur happy!
Is that the black prelude with the b20 swap?

Exactly. All three (being fully built) capable of stomping y'alls whimpy little Honda motors.
God I love the Flying M!
Better yet, give me a KL-ZETT. That'll be best!
