Long story short I couldnt get the belt to work, I cant get enough tension on it and one size smaller doesnt fit. So we took off to go down town and I put my phone in the wifes purse so I didnt see any of the calls, we were in Fontaines and its kinda loud there. I texted Crafty as soon as I saw that he had been calling but it was like 12am by then.
That's what I was trying to get Crafty to tell you on the phone. You cannot use the stock tensioner with a shorter belt like that. You need to get a Chevrolet altenator <(sp?) bracket, cut off the extra and it will be the tensioner. Just as on the old Chevys.
Get it fixed. You want to get to it tonight?

I think I've got it sorted, I'm going to drive it around in a little while and do some data logs, I dont think that the reduced load from the pump will change the tune but I should be able to get it figured out quickly if it does.
