HA MMR and SDR are some of the fastest tracks in the southeast, forgot to mention Valdosta is extremely fast, and the last time I was there I seen 2 C6 Z06s and one C6 and all were stock, but one had a Corsa Cat back.. he was running 11.90s the whole time @ 119-120 and the other Z06 ran an 11.89 @ 119 but the rest of his runs were 12.0X remember you're making 75-80hp more than a stock Z06
go to a ford site and find some one in the A that has one. there's a few running loose.

I'm taking my car to my detail guy to get a buff job so I can put it in the garage for the winter, he has informed me he has traded his C5 Z06 in and purchased a C6 Z06. Maybe he'll let me drive it? I drove one from Barrett to Hwy 92 wasn't able to stay in it long because the traffic smooth power band though. since we're on the topic of Vettes why does the young guy with the C6 w/ cam/head/exhaust RED... well why does he run his mouth, and will never race, even when its a gaurranteed win for him? Hydro? Lankhoss? just figured cause all the vettes hang together... or at least park together...

Stock Z's trap 125 all day long, and the good drivers can trap 127. The highest trap speed of a stock Z was 129.5mph by Ranger. He was on drag radials only.
119 - 120 is MUCH slower than the Z can trap, stock. I was only trapping 118 - 120 at SDR, but I think either their calculator was off or I was lifting early. I was only trapping 123 there the other weekend, with my mods.
F' if I know, I never talk to that guy. I saw him a couple of times back when his car was stock....but haven't seen him for MONTHS. I'm hardly ever out at Barrett, though.

like I said.... the cars are trapping 120s... depends on the track too... Valdosta is so freakin fast, because its RIGHT below sea level and it's completely flat no humps @ 330' like most tracks are... especially with the vettes suspension it can unload itself because of a small "dip" in the track.... this is why you see tracks that have been graded into a hill at the big end... check it out the next time you see drag racing videos on the net, or on TV... tons of tracks have been designed like this... alotta people beleive that the track is slower because of the rise. Yes, it could be under some circumstances. Most of the time, it's for the safety of the drivers so the suspensions compress more toward the big end when the car starts to lift because of high speed/wind pick up.

Andrew, I've only talked to that one guy with the Red C6 a couple times. He makes 460 from what I remember. He was talking about a "Supercharged GT" whenever I met up with you and Jtown that one night. His friend knew nothing about cars, and completely ruled out that the Mustang wasn't fast.
I was like, "Did it have Black wheels? Yeah, you would've got owned."
He's a younger looking guy with Red hair.

RANGER 10.85 130 MPH NOW AND STOCK ZO6 IS TRAPPING AROUND 127
We tried to get him to race a supercharged cobra. He said it was a waste of time. We told him we would make it worth his time if he thought he could outrun the cobra. We went out on the highway and he tried doing ricer fly by's, along with his buddy in the gto. The guy in the mustang finally got tired of it and let them jump again, then chased them down and passed them.
