What trackday event at Road Atlanta allows wheel to wheel racing?

NASA HPDE, 4 levels of run groups. http://www.nasaproracing.com/hpde/index.html

But for just a normal track day event, i'll throw up the best 100 or so lap times and see if anyone on here can beat them...remember they're just Del Slows

Nice, I thought the time trials classes were the closest thing NASA had to racing short of the stuff for dedicated race cars.

For a relatively stock evo or STI on radials a 1:38 is a respectable time. How much faster than that are we talking?

That's not respectable, that's beyond impressive...i'm trying to remember if i've even seen an evo or Sti break 1:39.

If I remember correctly 1:29 is the best lap i've seen in one of the Del Sols with a 1:30 to 1:32 average on hoosiers...I'll verify it later today.

Here's a link I found with a bunch of times for several differant classes, these aren't your normal trackday participants either

Thats a pretty fast time considering that GT3 cup cars run about the same times
