i ran the cobra sat night from about a 40 roll. fast car but not fast enough...

The car I'm talking about makes well into the 700s it's dark blue with silver FR500s or drag lites. It has a Jim Bell 10-pt roll cage. I think his tag says HA Z06, or Z06 WHA I can't remember

are you talking about judds whippled sonic blue cobra? The one out at BP had stock cobra wheels on it.

This sounds like one that I ran at Twiggs last year in the DOT class. Super nice guy if ya ask me. I can't imagine 2 dark blue Cobras with Drag Lites in this area with a 10 pt cage running mid 6's in the 1/8th but possible I guess.

are you talking about judds whippled sonic blue cobra? The one out at BP had stock cobra wheels on it.

the one cobra had nitto DRs on stock wheels and had a roll bar and a straight axle... the other has silver FR500s and a full cage but still retains the IRS, both have Kenne Bell superchargers. Both of the guys are named Jeff. Kinda weird. I know this sounds bad but I had one of them on video at MMR last year racing a procharged SS, I recorded something dirty over it. :boobies:

Are they both Dark blue or Sonic? I don't remember if the guy that I raced had a solid axle or not but I would almost bet on running his times and not breaking. Not sure of his name either but Jeff does sound right.

hmm i guess it was a different guy. but the cobra i did run had a cage and a kenne bell setup.

Well Del the old (2nd) owner of this car is one of my best friends and the car made 780 on pump gas and high 800s on race gas and the boost turned up.. The car was sold to another guy in georgia.. and the car blew up shortly after that. I'm not sure if it's back together or not.. But this car was never from Florida, the first owner and builder is from the Macon area. The car was white when it was bought and had it painted with a House of Kolors Candy Blue which looked Dark Purple...

And for those who want to run this car... Run it from a dig... all it does is sit still and spin till 100 on DR's... By that time your already out 4 buses in the 8th...

That sounds like the one that I ran at Twigg's (Macon National Dragway). It did have a purple tint to it but on slicks the bitch didn't spin a lick but it would hook and bust azz.
