    Default Spec V v. Neon 'Type S'

    Well I am on my way home and the lil bitch in a yellow riced out neon cuts me off on GA400. I get close and there is a 'Type S' badge on the back of it where there prolly should have been a SXT badge or something. I get next to him and jump once or twice and he doesnt do anything so I speed up to about 75 and go about my way. I look in the rear view to see this Neon Type S trying to do a ricer fly by. Right about when he get next to me he is doing about 85 or so, I drop it into 4th and start pulling and procced to leave his ass about 3 car lengths behind by time I got to 110 or so which is when he shut it down. Then he got off the highway. Stupid SRT-4 want to be.

    Well I have family here all weekend so I wont be able to put it on til next thrusday or next weekend sometime. It is going to be a 2 - 5 hr project because Nissan engineers can suck my balls because of the way the designed it. You have to take off the atlernator and cross member thingy (not sure on the termage) and you have to take out the fans in the front just to get the header in and out...

    Depending on how much you want from some of those things you might have a buyer. I am very tight on money. The Header will be the 1st engine mod for me so I am still in the market for good deals on exhaust and CAI.

    yea i hear ya its that time of year again and family comes first

    and i def know what ur talking about with the header.... i have a dc sports headers come to find out it was 5" short of the cat and was caught on the oil pan (make a long story short its for a dif year teg) but i had to pull the fans radious bar (crossmember) as well come to find out it didnt fit

    I have a cold air intake, header and exhaust that have never even been opened that im gonna be selling as soon as i get back and take some pics of them

    On another note, I got my base line on the dyno at mainstream on sunday during the dyno day. 146HP \ 156 TQ for bone stock...

    not bad but my massive non-vattack sohc with it's 5 lbs of wheel tw tq and 48579475089475 whp wil kill you...

    well this is what it is stock to the tranny...

    D16Y7 1.6 16V SOHC PGM-FI 1590 106hp@6200rpm 103tq@4600rpm '96-'00 Civic CX/DX/LX (USA)

    but i ahve CAI/H/ high flow cat with 2.5 cat back exhaust...shitty sprak plugs and wires that really need to be changed along with the dizy cap and rotary button, oil, oil filter, air filterm and i need a new o2 sensor..but it ain't sittin on no damn blocks!!!!! btw i would help you with your pos nissan if you need any more hands lol

    Is that what it actually makes or is that what it makes to the crank?

    Nah I dont think we need anymore help, I think I am going to borrow a couple of miranda's jack stands though cas kyles are scary...

    Cas I dont want 2900 Ibs of Spec V on my head...lol

    I was under the car with the jack stand up on 2 legs last time when we put the rear sway on...We fixed it and put jacks and jack stands to make sure it wouldnt move or fall...

    lol to tell you the truth I dont know, It is the OBX header that was for sale by Big J in the nissan section...there are pictures...

    I am going to say stainless though, cas they are only bout 250 - 300 new and as you can see there I only paided 75...

    lol used header...still looks to be in good shape..i hope you looked at them really good before you gave him the money...if you start to clean them with steel wool..it will scrath the piss out of them a then they will look like ass..also you will ned a nes gsket for it to mount up to the cat..if your ca was in your header then you will need to get a high flow cat. but if not then your good, i don't know on your car about the cat thing that was just how it was on mine lol...but if not then your good, also btw it won't throw the CEL for the o2 sensor for a while but it eventually will cause it will burn up stock o2 sensors, you'll eventually need to get a better one like i am having to do lol..but looks ok, but yeah nvm with what i was gonna tell you..i was gonna say if they were brand new stainless then after you clean them be sure to clean them very very god with rubbing alcohol so you can get all the finger prints and grease off of them so it willnot stain, but they are apparently already staind to hell and back..so nvm lol..so i'm guess this guy didn't do that...noobs are funny..should of just bought a new off brand one from ebay..same difference lol

    english please? i'm gonna say that you meant to ask if oyu could use the gaskets that were on your now correct? you could but i don't even know if your car has them stock lol..some cars do some cars don't mine didn't..you should be able to buy them at a parts store..i have a extra midly and i mean very midly used perfect condition gasket...that fits inbetween the header and the engine..only thing is it's for my car..i don't know if it will mount up right..but you can see if it does and you can have it if works lol....also it is a good idea to get gasket sealer...
