Whatever. We were out of town, hundreds of miles away, at an event we planned on going to for quite some time and visiting my family who happen to be in the same location. Just as other people had things that made this not possible on other weekends, we had the same this weekend. Sorry if family and long standing plans are more important than bs like this but they are and that's that. If we had blown off seeing my mother for the holidays, THEN I'd be ashamed.
