    these were from 40 mph rolls to 130..I let Buster in the c6 give the and take off.

    not BP probably...its getting a little too "hot." youre probably the only mustang driver who likes "the twisties," so props for that. unfortunately, there isnt a realistic way to "race" in the twisities.

    True, but it is a lot of fun playing chase and pass..a little more dangerous than street racing but a lot more fun

    I got told by a lot of people my last car was a piece of shit. I didn't buy it because others would like it, I liked it at the time. I think you'll agree with me there.

    I did detect a little sarcasm in his posts. Ask what he drives for proof.

    You probably won't see the new car at my work a whole lot. Hell, I didn't even drive the Cobra there but a handful of times.

    ok, I will do it your way if youll do it mine..i know you all like the straight roll but i like the curves. I will give ANYBODY here a head start on Blood Mnt.(4mile hike) and I will race you from a roll on 400 on the way back...both has to be video taped. Power is one thing but being able to drive is what counts. Im going sat. at 12. P.m. me if you wish to attend..several other cars will be there.

    I totally agree with the concept of what you are saying, but its far too Tokyo Drift to be realistic. I go up to north Georgia mountains all the time to ride motorcycles...I used to practically live up there if it wasnt raining. You can not realistically expect to "race" someone up there...there is far too much traffic to expect not to get caught-up behind traffic. And yes, you can pass people on the double-yellows, but personally its not worth my life and/or my cars well-being trying to race through traffic on a mountain road. I love to go up there and go as fast as possible when its possible, but the reality is that its rarely clear enough to have any type of competition.

    Yes on the last thing you said about competition, but that's not my fault. What's the difference in cuttin through traffic on a hwy. and doing it on the mnt.? None. It's actually safer if your a MATURE driver in the mnt. because you have to know your limits and your not just rubbin the carpet off your floorboard, ya know. Tokyo Drift is bullshit i'm just talking about being able to ACTUALLY drive your car. I said i'll run rolls on the way back and i mean it but the VIDEO from the mnt. will be sooo much better...my offer STANDS..p.m. me if ya wanta go..if you don't want to run your STILL welcome..

    holy shit yo! Thats the highest bolt on 01 cobra i've ever seen! And damn you made more torque then hp too! That 4.6 mod motor is amazing! So how exactly do you make 332 rwhp with just headers/exhaust and a chip on a motor that makes 320 hp at the flywheel? funny stuff...post the graph if you have it

    I love to drive up there, so Id be down for going up there with some people. Im not going to race someone up there. You think that its safer to pass someone on a two-lane road, across a double-yellow line and potentially around a blind corner in the mountains, than it is on the interstate? That doesnt make a lot of sense to me. And how can you "race" when, at any time, you could get hung-up behind a bunch of leaf-lookers? There are way too many variables that make it almost pointless to try. I always find it funny when people talk about "racing" up there...I have these flashbacks of those Japanese "touge" videos. Too bad most of those are staged

    I know of an '03 Mach 1 that made 319/325 C&L CAI, VRS X-Pipe, Magnaflow catback. Pretty much the same motors, right?

    mach1s were underrated from the factory and they have the solid axle which is usually less drivetrain loss then the IRS. I remember they Ford had big issues with the 99 cobras getting them to even dyno close to the what they were claiming.

    Check for track days at Road Atlanta. It's expensive, but the best way to race the way you like.

    Yeah but they have different heads from the Navigator i think, or that's what my friend says..he's got a white 03 Mach..the torque sucks because i have them weak ass 327 gears but it's great for top end. I know most imports put down a lot more hp than they do torque but it's a little different for the v8's ya know. Lightspeed, i don't pass in blind corners or on double yellows and i watch for those stupid bicyclist in the way but when there's a passing lane it's time to go and i think it's a lot more fun, but opinions are like assholes ya know.

    gears have barely anything to do with actual torque on the dyno.... you might see 3 to 5hp LOSS by using a lower gear i.e. I went from a 3.27 to a 3.73 ratio and lost 3.37hp the torque was only .03 more. Same dyno, IATs, tune, & day.
