My Evoscan output corresponds, but I haven't verified it by GPS or anything. Just by doing the math.

I've been torn between doing a 2.3L stroker with a lower redline and more torque or a high winding 2.0L. I think I'm going to do the 2.0L route, I love top end pull and I wish the evo had more.
Heh, everyone sees black or white between those two motors...

2.3 gives ya the nice "free" torque increase as well as obvious faster spool, however it'll hinder your redline which essentially shifts your powerband to the left.

2.0 gives ya the nice "free" taller gear ratio effect as well as the ability to take advantage of an insanely-high redline setup, however you'll be envious of the free torque the larger displacement alternative gives. 2.0 gives a much larger powerband than a 2.3 does on a big turbo with the right supporting mods.

If you got some deep pockets, go 2.1... you reap some of the benifits of the 2.3 world as well as an even higher redline and powerband than a 2.0.

Didn't mean to jack the thread... so in order to stay somewhat on topic: Thacker sucks at life.
