They also have a cobalt ss, non supercharged 2. Without the big wing, different wheels etc...
they come with 170hp to the wheels I think and the one with out a charger is just a styling package

i know the guys in the cobalt's...they are both supercharged and pretty cool guys too...saw them out in winder a couple days ago...the guy with the yellow one is trying 2 sell an Eclipse motor cuz he wrecked the car...that's how he got the Cobalt...and the guy in the red one is a fuckin trip, laughed the whole time i was with them...bump.

We were doing about 60-70 I was in 4th when we started, heard him downshift and he was slightly ahead of me, I got on it and I pulled on him and stayed ahead till about 120. He was keeping up but couldnt pass me. I dont even know if it was an even start no one honked off or anything. I just have a short DP, lightened pulley and a Y pipe.
i love running cobalts.. they're supercharged and they actually think they're fast.. they always try to race me and i just 180 into reverse and still beat them backwards.

What year is your wrx? is it an sti.. Just wondering because my brothers cobalt walks lightly modded wrx. His is a little different than the other to though he has the g85 package but thats seats and handling components...

i had to give that red SS a ass whoopin along time ago he talked shit about my GTI so i murdered him from a 35-120 (easy 6+ cars) then we got back and he talked more shit so he wanted a dig run and everyone knows that my gti spun into 3rd and i still killed him... need less to say he never came back to the spot after that.
so you have a fast gti? not badmouthing ur car its just thati have yet to see one, year? details? and i have a basically stock cobalt still, you dont have to dawg it , i soppose unless it makes you feel cool to beat a mid 14's car with a highly modded car, cause if we are on the same page here, stock gti's are dogs.

id rather have a cobalt ss than a lot of ricer shit I see out there, thats for sure. its a neat little car. but you have to admit some cobalt drivers are tools that think they have gods gift to speed b/c they have a supercharger.

1.) You have never seen a fast gti?were have you been? it was an 01 1.8t and i had the old ass turbo kit which only put 270whp down all the new kits put down 350whp w/ just bolt on kits. and i have multiple friends who have 400+.
2.) i don't care if its stock or modded i never doged it. i said you would get spanked by wills 350z. and again i will say it you will get spanked. ive ran the stage 3 SS ( pully,chip,injectors,intake,Exhaust,ect) and still pulled a bus and i have raced will way to many times and know he would whip a high moded 1 also

what i meant was that the people that i have met with GTI's GLI's etc, always stuck with the K03S and one guy got the KO4, yet i hadnt seen anyone with any of the eip tuning kits or anything or that sort. i didnt mean that i didnt think they exist, i apologize if i took it like you were dawging on it its just that some people on this forum just like to do that. As far as the stage 3 kit goes, it only puts down 252 to the wheels from the stock underrated 205. the only reason my car isnt running one of these kits is just that, they dont make much gains. Im waiting for my 60# injectors to get in so i can run the 2.6 pulley and then get it tuned but even so, its estimated 275whp.. and thats at 21psi.. thats not much at all, to exceed these numbers with a cobalt, you either need nitrous, twincharge kit (turbo and supercharger) or lots of internal work.1.) what my point is, is that it states even on the GMPP website that these cars were aimed towards road racing/autocross. some people dont take into account other features in a car other than how fast it is from a dig/roll, if i wanted a strict drag car, i wouldve bought an SRT4, Cobra or something else with the potential of those high numbers. i just get mad when people like KayFunk get on here and start talking about creaming mclarens and talking all this smack about my car, if you can understand.

anytime any place ill annihilate your stock cobalt SS, sorry to break it to you but most likely those 350's either couldnt drive or they werent racing you, the cobalt is trash.
as far as you go, you're probably not too smart if you think i was being serious about killing a mclaren F1.. i was mocking the previous thread about the hatch rolling a 350 and then realizing the 350 wasnt even racing.
Kayfunk is a cool guy, he messes around alot and surprisingly alot of people can't catch sarcasm (with hints of mcnoobins road and 90000000 hp...) ... but whatever, the cobalt ss might be a neat car for its class... but its still not in the range of a 350.. when my car was stock i barely pulled on kayfunk's Z when we had rolling starts and I'm pretty sure your car would not keep up with a stock evo... but who knows! streets can always have alot of bullshit happening
