1.) You have never seen a fast gti? were have you been? it was an 01 1.8t and i had the old ass turbo kit which only put 270whp down all the new kits put down 350whp w/ just bolt on kits. and i have multiple friends who have 400+.

2.) i don't care if its stock or modded i never doged it. i said you would get spanked by wills 350z. and again i will say it you will get spanked. ive ran the stage 3 SS ( pully,chip,injectors,intake,Exhaust,ect) and still pulled a bus and i have raced will way to many times and know he would whip a high moded 1 also

3.) yes Stock gtis are dogs but w/ a chip & TB it would pull a light modded SS and sure there are plenty of gtis on here to give you a shot since you think there slow. ask walker,chuck,admin,ect

what i meant was that the people that i have met with GTI's GLI's etc, always stuck with the K03S and one guy got the KO4, yet i hadnt seen anyone with any of the eip tuning kits or anything or that sort. i didnt mean that i didnt think they exist, i apologize if i took it like you were dawging on it its just that some people on this forum just like to do that. As far as the stage 3 kit goes, it only puts down 252 to the wheels from the stock underrated 205. the only reason my car isnt running one of these kits is just that, they dont make much gains. Im waiting for my 60# injectors to get in so i can run the 2.6 pulley and then get it tuned but even so, its estimated 275whp.. and thats at 21psi.. thats not much at all, to exceed these numbers with a cobalt, you either need nitrous, twincharge kit (turbo and supercharger) or lots of internal work.

what my point is, is that it states even on the GMPP website that these cars were aimed towards road racing/autocross. some people dont take into account other features in a car other than how fast it is from a dig/roll, if i wanted a strict drag car, i wouldve bought an SRT4, Cobra or something else with the potential of those high numbers. i just get mad when people like KayFunk get on here and start talking about creaming mclarens and talking all this smack about my car, if you can understand.
