btw, its funny how he constantly says "cam-only SS" on here when he says in there that he has a built, forged motor and full bolt-ons. He's probably lying about the "stock" heads, since he refers to them as "factory" heads in the thread also. I imagine they are worked.
Basically, that car seems "fully built" in my book.
Id probably be pretty upset if I spent all that money and only made that much power out of an lsx motor.
Even if its setup for nitrous with lower compression, Id expect more.

well let me enlighten you...NITROUS doesnt need low compression as it COOLS THE INTAKE CHARGE...so sky high compression and nitrous is perfectly FINE.....as far as porting the heads...LS1 heads stock flow really well and i guess he didnt want to spend a lot of money on gaining 10-20hp that you get from porting the stock heads...hope it makes more sense to you now.Originally Posted by lightspeed

Lightspeed: some folks do that, yes.. I will elaborate with some examples when I get off of work if you want. But it's not really applicable in Thacker or most ls1 owners application..
