    why you need an excuse...we lets see....tell me if i am correct about any of the facts here....your car with u in it is around 2800lbs makes around 450+ to the wheels. Your tranny is a very weak point right at 400rwhp...you are racing the SS from the stop which means you will have to launch pretty hard to have a remote chance of "catching" him by the end of the race....and beside the 75% of you braking your tranny you will be out of money that you are betting unless u have bunch of cheerleaders front the money for you.....so i dont think your car is goin to be out of the paint shop on saturday to race......just a speculation..i hope its out so i can make some money on this race...

    You said something with 450-500 hp yadayada was fast. How about something that runs 10s is fast. Something that runs 5.30s in the 1/8 is fast. Something that runs 200 is fast. You cant judge a car by what kinda numbers its putting down. Thats what Im getting at.

    Quick history lesson with me. When I first joined I was not used to people getting away with poping so much shit, I mean where I grew up, if you talk shit youi get knock the fuck out and you keep steppin and that person just learned a valuble less on shit talking. One of the people I got into it with was our very own kills forum mod. and after 15 pages of shit talking like this one it finally pushed my button and I saw in events section that all 6 people runnin off at the mouth were gonna be at a certain park for an event so me and my boy went up there to see about them. Ot make a long story short, there were no ill intensions ment by them and most appologized, we chatted for a while, and they schooled me to how people talk on IA and to not take things serious. So since then I try to abide by the rules, but every now and then I get some dumb ass that pushes my buttons and I am ready to handle things like I know how. If you talk enough shit you will eventually get a reaction from me. This time it took 900 post so I dont thik I am doing to bad.
    As far as thacker goes, when I see him or if someone else I know sees him first it will be on unless HE not your friend, can make things right before then. Until he makes that post who knows what will happen.

    TO ME...not to other people...due to the fact that I am less experienced in my OWN cars...TO ME thats fast. I couldnt agree more that all of that is fast...but I personally dont think numbers mean anything unless u have a driver that can handle it and can make it count. I said 450-500 for me would be fast.. jsut because Im at 200whp. My car is slower than balls right now. All of those numbers are in the assumption that its actually making it to the pavement.

    jack, dont be a moron. there are plenty of stock turbo, <400 whp, full- or near-full weight supras running low-mid 11's (record is 11.12, and that is stock turbos, bolt-ons, no nitrous, near full weight.) Just because most supra owners cant drive or dont set their cars up to drag-race doesnt mean the cars dont have the capability.

    Your right, however I was simply saying you cant go by dyno numbers. There was a black supra that came to the south side not to long ago with 800+ and got beat by a 400 hp mustang....bad, now that supra was bad and all just wouldnt hook. That was the point I was trying to make and Im not downing supras just using that as an example.

    I have a question...why are you about the only person in earth who is sticking up for this egghead (except for his "driver" I guess?) I dont personally know either one of you, but after reading posts by and about him on 3 other forums, along with what Ive seen on this forum, the kid has a serious fucking attitude problem, on top of the fact that he obviously lies and changes his story to fit the scenario. Im not sure why you picked this guy to cheerlead for.
    Ill admit it sucks to get gang-raped online sometimes, but hes the one who came in here and stepped in the big pile of shit, then tried it kick it back in J and other people's face.
    I would suggest you chill and let ole' boy come back on and settle things with J and m3 his damn self. Im not suggesting he come on and kiss anyones ass, but I do suggest the following:
    1. stop changing the rules and setup an agreed-upon run between him and J and/or the m3. ignore all the other cheerleader comments, because he obviously stirred up so much shit that he cant avoid it. he needs to be the bigger man here i guess.
    2. he STFU until race day, about the upcoming race and the past runs with the m3. I think it would be cool if J and the m3 would do the same thing.
    3. have him fucking show up on race day and run the agreed-upon race(s.) Im pretty damn sure J and the other dude's will.
    4. if he wins, he can talk all the shit he want. same for J. if the other doesnt like, thats too fucking bad. but, i still suggest neither one being a dickhead.

    To ensure he not get his ass beat-down when/if he shows up, I would suggest he work things out offline at least, ahead of time. One again, Im not saying he should suck anyones dick, but at least be fucking cool. He did go personal on J, and thats fucked-up.

    Speed INC did my current block and proline did the balancing on the rotating assembly. I just had a Canton 7QT and have no LT1's to put it on. All I seem to work on is Ls's so thought I might ask if you needed one.

    i am friends with him and i also have a camaro..i was there on Sunday and know what happened.....I got sucked into this mess by people calling out my car that they have no clue about. To top it off i said it multiple times that my car doesnt run but some people cant read, so might as well talk some shit and get some races lined up once the car is running since people are so confident in their rides on this message board.

    proline in woodstock or wherever they are? How much did they charge to balance the assembly if you dont mind me asking? thats one of the things i need it done + filing the piston rings and rehoning the cylinders..thats about it.

    NEWSFLASH..When some one says they have a cam only car in the Fbody world..its usualy assumed they have all teh bolt ons to go with it. Hope that helps you understand what CAM ONLY means..means a cam change plus supporting mods such as headers/CAI etc

    i think i've read this 5-6 times. let me break it down

    performance mods = slp headers, exhaust, ported throttle body, futral motorsports fm13 camshaft with manley valvesprings/shims/fms chromoly pushrods

    drivetrain mods = strange 12 bolt w/4.11's, spec stage 3 clutch

    The car made 376rwhp on this setup and ran [email protected]

    This year parts added ls6 intake/asp underdrive/diamond pistons/lunati rods/clevite bearings so spraying the car with a hefty shot won't be a problem.. the car has stock heads, hell i even offered to pull the intake manifold off in the parking lot the other night so they could inspect the intake ports.

    Agreed, there are some slow, big HP supras. But, there are some slow, big HP V8 cars too, if they arent setup right. nothings going to ET if its spinning the entire run.
    But, not all supras are slow.

    Yeah there in woodstock. They do alot of machine work for me(MKPerformance) so they charged me $110.00 to balance the roatating assembly. Filing rings I thinks runs about 125.00-150.00 and they can do it while you wait

    I wasn't meaning to promote I was meaning they did it for me for $110 because I use them through my shop is what I meant. Yeah I know rob with the red vert vette. The procharged one that MDMC built and kept blowing head gaskets

    No...a cam only car is CAM ONLY....hint: that why it sez "only"..ie...nothing else to add power. Every f-body owner I've ever talked to either said they had cam + bolt-ons, ie. lid, longtubes, gears, blah,blah,blah....

    I get the reasoning though...i don't see anyone willing to swap cams still using stock cai, headers, etc.

    doesn't make any difference to me....that 396rwhp isn't enough unless his car is seriously gutted.

    so how much spray? or is that classified
