First off no magic formula lol keep trying buddy, if you just twist the throttle in any race you have a lot to learn. Second im not trying to bait noone I started the race everyone jumped right in and said there car would win trust me i know more about all of this than you think. I didnt by a bike and Start racing yesterday. Ive been riding for 9 years im 30 years old and have been in more than a hand full of races. Ive owned everything from a katana 600 to a busa.. Ive raced almost every bike in many situations. Ive raced cars not as much but still know the difference in car and bike situations. Like Ive said time and time again on here if there is a car that can hang with a sports bike from a dig or a 10 to 20mph kick in a mile i want to see the car. And as for the other guys that want to race from a 60,70,50 etc. to what ever speed. Im ready to do that to dont really know what the out come will be in that circumstance. But as said before your more and welcome to come play as well...

On the newer bikes....you would still be in first, but 2nd would probably be a better gear.....considering my zx9 tops out at 70mph in first.

I seen you trying to bait the car guys to run you from a dig ....you have to be packing a whole lot of power and traction in a car to run with a bike from a dig.....a half assed bike rider can pull 1.90 and better 60' times on a bike.

As far as 600cc bikes.....I will state this in bold text.....!JEREMY'S 240 WILL SEVERALLY BRUISE YOUR EGO ON THE HIGHWAY....DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR HIS GAS
    Have a Nice Day

A 06 R1 will walk away from a Zx-12 like its sitting still.

Thats is an awsome bike and will roll. Also everyone needs to stop talking about what there freinds bikes will do. If you don't have one then quiting talking about how the bike will out run someone elses that actually has one

you mind telling me where that 173 is at on an R1...cuz it damn sure aint at the wheels....considering piped 12r's make 170 at the wheels, you might want to think twice.

I can talk about any bike I want...I've ridden all of them, and I own a zx9.....you were more than welcome to try me that night I was riding next to you on barrett. ...And it's obvious you haven't ran a 12r....so go run one with someone who can actually ride.

I hope you meant R1, because I wouldn't waste my time running an R6....and if your silly enough to challenge a zx9 with an r6, that must mean there is some trickery to the r6

lets see....modified r6 (has to be on the bottle or turbo'd) vs. an old school zx9....give me a second to think about that....ummmmm...no

my zx9 is in SC....toook it down labor day weekend, have no plans to bring it back to Ga.....u should have tried me when you had the chance.

It wouldn't be a problem for my Little R6 to wax that Zx9 and yes it does have the bottle but it would not be needed. the night you are refering to is when we were in barret PKWY traffic and we were beside each other for about 3 seconds and there was no thought of racing because I figued waste of time just like you say mine is. I guess since your bike is now out of state I guess we won't know I tried to step and run them to see instead od all the other on here and no races, but I guess it won't happend

lol...ok homie, whatever...you would have to have alot done to that R6 to beat my zx9...period!....and since you really don't know what's all done to it, I suggest you keep comments like that to yourself. You can't do enough shit to an R6 to beat my zx9....well....not without a power adder. I realize you have the weight advantage....but, unless that thing is strapped and/or stretched.....I will walk the little wheelie monster out of the hole, and you aint running my 9 down anytime soon

600's have shitty power curves...I've owned a few...you gotta rev the piss out of them...I would maybe give you the win with your R1 (If you can actually ride), but an R6....lol....must have an R1 motor stuffed in it.....if you really wanted to make it fast, you should've put a zx12r engine in it

    read and weep homie.....

    http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Articl...ID=3149&Page=2

your precious R1 doesn't weigh 381lbs....that's the dry weight! meaning no fluids in the bike....can you race with no gas, oil, or brake fluid?....yeah didn't think so. your R1 is mre like 450lbs...but I'll give it 425lbs for arguments sake.

    Now...a zx12r is about 550lbs wet +-.....hmmm...your R1 makes ~143rwhp and 73lb.ft...12r makes 160hp and 90+lb.ft at the wheels stock......

    ....read, and keep weeping
    http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_..._12r_compared/

...and trust me, my argument isn't based off of some magazine, I go soley by what I witness in real life....do some power-to-weight figures and you'll see the numbers are so close it's almsot neglible.....but considering the 12 and busa have a broader power band and torque curve than you liter bike guys, that makes up nicely for the weight disadvantage....and makes life bad for you on highway rolls.

    Fin.
