I was on 75 on my way down but after getting held up at an appointment in downtown that morning and already having driven 2 hours and with the possibility of rain I chickened out and headed home. I was all prepared and if I'd been able to run my car probably would have headed on down but to just come and spectate there were too many things that were making it not seem worth it. I'm glad those in attendance had a good time.
and my fastest run... i didnt get to race kevin
i never let my car cool down.. i ran around 15 runs without letting it cool down. in retrospect I wish i woulda let it cool down for a half hour or so

Actually, the owner of the track told me it turned out pretty well for a new event, esp given the heat and rain potential. There were a lot of people calling the track and asking about rain. It was raining all over the place, and that obviously discouraged a lot of people.
Several of the big imports were broken or out of town, which didnt help.
The point of this wasnt meant to be "impressive." It was meant to have fun for the people who wanted to go, and I think it accomplished that.
+rep, good job on stepping up and putting together an event just for the benefit of people who want to race.
yea i was just worried that the track owner wouldnt let us come back since not so many people showed up. but i think the more we have, the more people will come out. I had a BLAST
Remember this, there will be none of that 3-5 bus lengths thing Jason. Its not that quick now ..

Did anybody see Luv2spd slow ass runs all day. I think it hit a 12.8 at a 111MPH once and the rest were 13's and 14's. I guess its a start. She had a ton of fun and was just hot lapping the damn car. I think it cooled down once for about 15 minutes after I made her park it to let the clutch and the tires cool. I thnk she got 14 runs and we got there at 3:00pm. Alot of fun. Good event. Will definetly go next year.
Well I use to work for Honda but I can still get you the part, LMK exactly what it is & give me the money for it whenever we can meet up. I'll get it for you. OK me on street tires (no DR, actually ran faster times & higher traps on street tires), & you on the "doo-doos". I can't put money on it cause I have none but if I beat you can I have the $100 big baller ?
