Import Showdown track times/kills

I wanna know why everyone on here can run the shit out of there cars on the highways all the time and then they go to the track and the cars fly to peices ??????? If you go down and look at everyones post on there times either before or after there time there is a excuse why they ran that. Come on guys you run what you ran and thats good evough. The only one with no excuses is clark and I have seen his car run fatser than he ran that day. Anyways sounded like alot of fun I wish I could have went but I had the 10th annual f-body gathering to go . It was lots of fun as well.

on saturday i ran a 13.4 @ 104 around 7:30pm. then my car took a crap on me and i forgot how to drive and sunday was running 14.0's and 14.1's. it was hotter than balls all day sunday, i believe the track temp was about 147, so must of us were running like shit. took 2nd in the all motor class, lost to my boys s2k by 1 tenth of a second ( congrats shady!! ). i had a great time hanging out with everyone there.

Yeah, Dave cut a .017 react time in the showdown class finals. I had a .010,.007, and .008 but for some reason started hitting boost cut in the silvia on the first pass I made and still can't figure out why. We are looking at it tonight so hopefully it is something simple.

13.4 actually, I was really disapointed. I put new injectors and after a base tune, the laptop stopped working. oh well I'll go to commerce or somwhere soon and try again. Where was your car Jay?

The pic is in my avatar. We went over this last time about power numbers and dyno sheets and time slips over the internet . I'm not going to get into it again. If you beleive me good if not I could give too shits less. At the import domestic showdown it will be the cars first time at the track with the new motor and I will see how it does and I will be tuning on it at the same time. I'm not on here to ruin this thread someone ask my best time I told you guys and thats it. Just let it go and continue on posting times from the import showdown

I ran a best time of 14.5 @ 97 on street tires, and a 14.3 @ 98 on Morelian's slicks. I probably could've done better if my launch control wasn't set at only 4K. On the line my car straight up died when I dumped the clutch on the slicks, was embarassing . Made both qualifying rounds but then got eliminated by NismoSleeper's Altima.

what are your mods? i almost ran that in a 2600lb stock gsr swaped integra on 17's and a open o2 hole in my exhaust...the shit vibrated out so i had a major exhaust leak.

dude i have about 17 time slips from the other day...i was running 14.8's-15.1's like all day the the run before my very last i squeeze out that 14.7..i had to rev my car to 8700 in 3rd but i still ran it.

my car weighed 2630 with me in it and yeah i was running on 17's with bald kuhmo 711 street tires. My O2 sensor vibrated out my exhaust so i had a big hole in it. As far as mods i just got I/H/E. I think my lauches sucked!! and were killing my time lol. With some steelies and fixed exhaust leak i think i coulda hit a 14.5

well i mean it's not the stock motor...it's a b18c1 in a 91 chassis but it doesnt have anything but I/H/E..if my aebs manifold and t-bodie come in by this weekend then im gonna go again and shoot for 14.5 or lower...then im putting the turbo kit on and shooting for high to mid 12's.

i ran a shity 14.2 on bald ass tires. and lost to the s200 in semi finals (that shit is quick) but had lots of fun chillin with frank, john, branden, sowl, kevin, and alex. (fort valley police dept.) lol. the tack was ok but it was hot ass hell i think i can break the 13" in commerce soon

I was down at the end with some columbus folks, red/primer eg hatch, black rex, seanc's teg, 300zx, rx7, neon, gti, another teg, a black da, and me in the pimpin grand marquis

That was the first time I had ever been there so I don't really know anyone yet
