Evo VIII vs Every Street Legal car @ Commerce 5-19-06
Turns out, I ran the fastest ET and the highest trap speed out of every street legal car during Power Hour at Commerce Friday night. Funny thing is, the audience seemed to talk about how fast the muscle cars, domestics, old cars, etc. were that were there... but wouldn't give any credit to the imports... eventhough I believe Patrycia and I had the top 2 ET's during power hour.
I had one guy with an older red mustang coupe looking for "fast" people to race in the staging lanes... so he pointed to a z06 behind me but I thought he was pointing at me so I drove up next to him... but he rolled his eyes and pointed again to the z06 behind me and waved me to move over. lol...
On a side note, it was suprising that I was able to get 10 runs in with two long breaks. Gave me a lot of good practice learning how to drive the new setup... and honestly, I still need lots more practice but I managed to improve my ET every run 'til the last one. Kinda a big jump from running 23seconds last time at Commerce to being the ET/Trap Fast Friday winner. =]
