Me, stock black 06 STI, Buford Hwy, turning right onto N Druid/Roxboro Rd.
Here is a quick suggestion...you might find it useful in the future. If you are going to go through the effort of changing direction to follow someone to try to get up next to them to race, and then you race and get beat, dont be an ass about it.
You had a jump on me when you were coming along side from 2nd gear, and yes, I did take-off right before you got immediately beside me though. Im not about to wait until someone is already right beside me if they already have a jump..thats a big advantage to overcome. Anyway, I continued to pull on you up through 4th gear when I let out. I let out when I hit 5th because I am not familiar with that road and there are blind hills, but I would have been glad to keep going if it was appropriate.
Im not sure what you thought was funny at the end. I was trying to wave you over to a parking lot check out your car and be friendly, but instead I get some stupid smug smirk, for whatever reason I dont know.
Im pretty sure Ive seen this car out at some of the hangout spots.
Anyway, maybe Im being an asshole for getting pissed about the end. If I am, I guess I took the smirking the wrong way and I somewhat apologize for this semi-rant.
If you feel in any way that it wasnt a fair race...that I took off too soon, that you werent running enough boost, that we didnt run long enough, whatever...ill be glad to let you run my stock daily driver again whenever opportunity presents itself.
