    Exclamation *Video* - Evo VIII vs Turbo IS300

    Dan w/ his boosted IS300 on the bottle vs me w/ my Lancer...

    We believe that Dan's blow-off valve was malfunctioning in the last run (which was actually one of the first ones), but it seemed to have fixed itself before the other runs. I didn't post the other runs where his car was obviously not working correctly.

    The reflections of light off of IS300 from the Evo's perspective are fireballs from underneath my car...

    The music was randomly chosen and I only spent 'bout an hour or so making this video... I couldn't sleep and needed to find something to do... btw, it's 6:01am.

    naw.. he's not that quick.. i was short shifting and had a parasailer attached to the trunk... if i didn't have all that wind drag.... different story... charles knows it too..

    Funny thing is, I was short-shifting with no NLS and mild anti-lag. =]

    but yah... I secretly put saran wrap on Dan's FMIC before the race... and around his intake air filter too... that's how I roll. =]

    id like to see how fast the evo would be with someone driving who could shift fast
    seriously though, thats costing you a lot of time. looks like its about tranny/center diff build time so you dont have to worry about breaking it.

    I didn't NLS on purpose... and not sure how fast NLS'n will break my tranny. Still, my tranny / tcase seem to be about perfect... they just don't like high rpm shifting. Due to my lack of funds, I prefer to keep 'em stock for as long as possible... but yah, I know my shifting gives my opponent a big opportunity to catch back up. =]
