shit happens. i think my first run on the track i ran a 14.1 cause i launched at 3k. but i only had 275hp, hehe. second run i pulled a 13.2.everyone screws up their first time, haha.
just work on the launch, should be better. trap is a li'l low for what power you make, dunno what to make about that. what was your 60'?

maybe you would if i had a supra...but i make a lowly 150hp to the wheels at 2800lbs.....damn right it's not bad.....and your right it is funny......i should laugh at a 300+hp supercar that runs a few tenths faster than me.....

Karen did a damn good job for her first time. I know that it took a lot of guts for her to get out there and do that (To think, about seven months ago, you would never DREAM of going over 80 mph in that thing, much less going racing at the track). So kudos to you Karen.

yep and thats all it should be about.I have had some way worse runs then that. my ecu flipped out on me one time and I ran a 20 something so blah blah who cares. well the next fast friday is may 19th so we will all go and you can get some more practice.

My sentiments exactly.. I knew my first time would suck but I wanted to see how the track would be. Now that I know what im doing its time for me to work on my launch and turn up the boost a bit.. The person helping me (which we shall leave names out for the time being) laughed when I told him I had never used my boost controller before until last night which is why I only kept it on 18lbs. I also left my traction control on and did exactly the opposite of what he told me to do. Nerves got the best of me...

I didnt read the entire thread but it gets better with time Ms. Ren, with my infiniti putting down 417whp I ran a 13.8 @ 106mph or something.. mind you I ran a 13.9 @ 102mph putting down 238whp. More horsepower requires a lot more skill, patience, and practice and everyone else makes it look easy because they've been doing it for a while. I still get nervous when its time to do my burnout! I still dont know how to do a proper burnout.. but as long as you're proud of your car don't stress about the track (especially if you went to commerce, I suggest Steele or Reynolds myself)
Don't let the shit talkers get to you. You did a good job for the first time out. Dont listen to anyone when it comes to your car cause your the only one that knows your car inside and out (unless they built your engine). I am proud of you for going out there and giving it your best. Also play it safe with your car, if you dont have the proper fuel ( fuel pump, injectors,etc) and tunning it would be a good idea to stay away from turning the boost up. Just remember the race season just started so you have plenty of time to practice.

what you should look at Ren is your Trap speed. 99mph trap speed is pretty indicitive of a high 13 second pass. If you ran 15s, looks at your 60ft. if it was anything over a 2.0, then you got problems with your launch BAD. Try launching it higher
