    Heh, I can't believe how anal you folks are about having passangers while racing... like it's the most crucial thing ever...

    I race a lot with 2-3 passangers, a 5-gallon container of fuel (not counting my fuel tank), and random other tools in the back... jeez...

    If you're that concerned, might as well race nekkid with a stool turned upside down and make sure you fart / exhale on the 1st honk while pee'n out the window. -.-;

    No need for the immature comments....so you're telling me if someone with your exact same setup and weight ran you and you had your family coming back from geek squad and he pulled on you, you wouldn't ask to do it again

    Personally I do not ask for re-runs unless I change something significant in my setup. I think it's a disrespect to the art to ask for a re-run (under the exact same conditions). If I gotta boost leak, I simply do NOT run. I won't run, and then say "I had a leak". Neither do I make excuses BEFORE the run, like show up asking if some1 has a laptop... u can use that as a "safety" later if you lose and say "yeah, every1 knew I needed that 9/16th wrench ahead of time". I am either 100% or I do not run. I get less runs this way, but I also get bigger kills by ALWAYS running at 100%. But every1 does it differently, I can respect a quarterback who still plays in the game nursing a back injury. To each his own.

    I'm guessing this is directed towards me? I have a 250whp NA Spec V --> www.seriouscustoms.com/sunbeltprogress

    I also have a 91 Civic Si (EF hatch), circa 190WHP (b swap)

    My "race" car is a 95 Civic Hatch w/ a B18 stoker (N/A). (www.seriouscustoms.com/garage) I run this car (race), so I do not post or drive it daily. There are a few people on IA who have seen it. I will not post WHP, but I will say it outclasses my Spec V.

    And to answer your question weight is EVERYTHING when you run a high HP FWD (or even RWD). If I am bogged down w/ weight though, I simply would NOT run, that's what I am saying. I will flag the guy down and set it up right. B/c how many times have u seen some1 post a "kill" when the know DAMN well the guy had his wife/kid in the car, or was "heavy"... ya know? I do not want a post of NE1 waxing my EG unless they earn it, and the only way to do that is for both cars to be 100%. That's how I was taught growing up w/ my dad, so I kinda stick with that.

    **DISCLAIMER** the pics of my EG are before the weight reduction. While it still looks the same as the pics, it has a VERY diff motor and interior than the pics show. I try to keep my cars off the net daily, too many cops and too many thieves in ATL. LOL

    im sorry you are saying you make more than 250whp all motor? mind listing the setup, i dont beleive that for a second.

    Also, 190whp in taht EF, list taht setup, i know woh makes those kinda numbers locally, an most of them come from my shop. i know EVERYONE locally that makes any kind of power all motor, i find it hard to beleive you slipped under my radar.

    No disrespect meant, but thats a BIG CLAIM that i would have to see proof of. My dyno is open all the time for a friendly wager

    Man I have been tryna get ON your radar for some time... but you ignore my PMs. The 1 time I came to your shop to pick up that polished cover you never took a look at my EF. Not to mention I just moved back here (home) after spending 8 years in the Air Force. As a sidenote, do not think for 1 second I offer my slicks to every1 that wants to run... LOL. I am ALWAYS scheming and I am always measuring the competition. To put it bluntly I wanna see what you're gonna lay down at the track. If you look at my link it details the Spec V build... it's public knowledge on B15.net which is why I have no probs posting it (minus the cam card, everything is there). I PMd you AND sent an email to dyno the EF at Mainstream and get the wideband welded up... you ignored that PM too. It's okay, I am new to IA but I am not new to the scene. Email me and I will share my EF build. I will take you for a ride (or let you take yourself for a ride) in the EG, but I will not share the dyno... but I will share the Spec sheet from Raceline and PFISpeed (Denver). I will PM you (again)... LOL. We can setup a dyno for the EF... not to prove anything to you, but b/c I need the Hondata dialed in from 3 - 4200, it gets fat.

    What I said is that my EG outclasses my Spec V. Less WHP, but waxes my Spec V from a pull at any RPM.

    J, are you having Sunbelt build your motor? I talked to them a while back about building me a motor, but they were booked for like 2 months. Whats the deal with waiting now?

    Man, if you read the link I was actually still in the Military then, and that was 2003. And no knock on Sunbelt, but PFISpeed in Ft Collins had to redo the top end (was NOT bad work by Sunbelt, no phone calls saying I am bad-mouthing them, they are TOP NOTCH). PFI just had a different way of thinking that's all. It only laid down 248, but I am sure the motor will lay down 250. Depending on the motor you are building you can get equal work done cheaper than SB though. I had no choice b/c it was a QR25DE build... in 03 that motor was 1 year old, so NO shop in the nation was cracking open those blocks other than AEBS, and I was in SC so the logisitcs did not add up. SB built the motors for Realtime Though http://www.team-rtr.com/cars.htm when they debuted the Spec V in World-Challenge. After the 1st year they lost the bid, but not b/c the motor was not competetive.

    EDIT: If you are in a hurry, then you do not want a serious build Bro. I suggest a LOT of patience, and also spec out the build THREE TIMES before you start buying parts. You want to deliver ALL parts from 3rd parties when you drop off the block.
