If it's who I think it is, he doesn't hang out on .net. I'll get him to come in here.

That's exactly who I was thinking about. He's with SELOC. He is turbo now (I didn't know before, but I know now) and he was nitrous before. I'll get him to come in and say hi later.Quote:

The plate was the all blue one. I didnt remember the numbers, but thats not something that should be posted on the net anyway

Jaime did you do a dyno run at the traffic jams show last spring? If so i remember your car i had a dark green teg in the show.

i dont remember when that show was, but i was there. it was at the body plex parking lot i do believe. some guy brought his lambo's... yes, thats plural.

It was at the Body Plex in Buford. Traffic Jams put it on so a few of us couldn't compete in the show part of it. It was a pretty cool smaller show.
yea it really wasnt to shabby of a show.....what kinda numbers are you really puttin out?

I dunno. Some people swear by that kind of dyno because it adjusts based on actual vehicle weight as opposed to the standard dyno which uses a fixed 2000lbs. Not sure. Just know that 575 torque is wayyyy wrong for me. The HP numbers weren't completely off the reservation bad, but were considerably lower (3 something, but much lower than 378). I can't remember now.
It's no biggie. I had fun and that's all that matters really.
those are some good numbers especially for only 6psi. You are supercharged correct? I relaly like your car alot and there are very few that have done what you have to your car.
The guy that owns the IS300 works at atlanta toyota as a salesman..I know i work there also.
Sad thing is he is beating the car without a tune.
o yea? so you know him? It hasnt been tuned yet?

well its a really nice car and i agree to have all that money poored in and no tuning done? seems suicidal to me but like you said its his car right? What all does he have done do you know?

When guys talk about power adders and racing them untuned.I kind of loose interest in the conversation if you know what i mean.
Jaimecbr900-i have to agree with you on the mustang dynos. They are GREAT for tuning because they similate the street .But if they have the wrong inputs they can throw numbers WAY off ,like in your case.It has been seen that some under hand peaple use the MD'd to inflate their numbers to help sell their products.
I tune mine on one dyno so i know any changes i make will be pretty accurate.
yea i would lose interest as well in that conversation.....you know your stang is pretty pimp man, thats some rediculous power your pullin. How much did that blower add? Do you guys ever go to any of the IA meets?

For those that think haveing power doesnt go to your head..My car in a few easy steps
1) n/a 270rwhp
2) built motor w/blower @ 10psi-463rwhp
3) maf change ,bigger injectors(old ones maxed @ 100% duty cycle)-480rwhp
4) pulley change(14 psi)-555rwhp
5)blower upgrade ,same pulley (18~19psi)-621rwhp
All this in just over two years..Sad thing is you get use to it.Thats why i switched poweradders(vortech to a kenne bell) ..New setup will add a LOT of lower end torque and still keep my hp.She should break 600rwhp on 15psi on this setup and over 700 on race fuel (15 psi) :D
Im sure a few guys i know go to the events, they also post on here.Ive never been to one. With the car down,it takes the fun out of any meets..But she will be back up in a few weeks then she will be around :goodjob:
dang man that is absolutly sick......when you get her back up come to a meet i want to see her in person. Same for you jaime....i think i am gonna go to the meet at target on sat.

you ever race at commerce? If you ever go race on a friday night lemme know i wanna come see her run. I am gonna put my car to the 1/4 test soon myself.
Commerce SUCKS.The track prep is poor.ANd to race on friday night would mean a 1.5~2 hour trip in traffic maybe 5~6 passes at the track because of the crowds and then a 2 hour trip home(live on the south side).Quote:

ah i c......is she your dd?
The dudes is300 TUNED at 6-8 psi will make 275-325 whp through the manual transmission. He must have not upgraded head gasket and what not.....
pretty respectable power right there. Well if he would tune the ride he would get that power.
Exactly. I know that you can manipulate a mustang dyno pretty easily vs a dynojet one. I know that the numbers it spit out for me that day were way off. I was just doing it for giggles, so it wasn't a big deal to me. I'm exactly like you; tune on one dyno so you know what the differences are. All this driving around to find the dyno that "says" I'm higher than the last one just to have a higher number is stupid IMO. Besides, most of the time numbers are only that...numbers. As long as your happy with your own car, that's what counts. Cars should be built for the owner's liking and not to out do the other guy.Quote:

Im sorry but spending $$$$ to make less than 300rwhp is not something special. But thats why we all drive different cars.Quote:

Jaimecbr900Yea but you know just like i do.THere are those that build cars to "beat" other cars .So they can say they beat so and so.Quote:

I know a guy with a stang right now that way.Made 530+rwhp and wasnt happy because he still hasnt got my numbers so he sold everything to upgrade again, car had less than 20 miles on the new combo :jerkit:
