It was red with some black primer spots on it. There was another one i saw that caught up to the red one when i got off on the exit. Think it was gray, maybe light blue. My car is stock, I never had it up to that speed before, wasn't sure what to expect.

    Cobb Accessport: 675
Stg 2 Cobb maps: free from interweb

all in all about a total of: 1300bucks.
you'll be making 230-240awhp and about 210-230awtq. with a good chance for low 13 second passes.

^^^ Add a protune and STI topmount on top of that for another couple hundred dollars and pick up another 15-20whp.

I wanna see how my new gearbox runs on the topend versus a similarly powered WRX with the stock tranny.

Stock WRX, race people from a dig because these cars suck at racing from a roll until you're pretty modified.

yeah I've got a ver5 STI tranny. 4.44 final drive ratio, top speed is a hair over 150, redline in 5th gear.

My 4th and 5th gears are the same as a stock wrx but I've got the shorter final drive ratio. 1,2,3 are all more evenly spaced than stock and 3rd is close enough to 4th you stay in the power band

    Eh....I wouldn't say that, dude.

    I had an '88 Turbo II with a T04 turbo, all Racing Beat 3" down-pipe, pre-silencer, catback, balanced and blue-printed injectors, fuel-pump...

and I was only about 300hp @ 12psi...good for probably a 12.7 or so. If I had an upgraded intercooler, radiator, EBC, and S-AFC...then I could have been right at about 400hp @ 16psi or so....good for probably 12.1 or a hair lower.
