The unexpected race
So im cruisin down the road enjoying this beautiful day. Windows rolled down listening to some music. Oh what a gorgeus day it is. Then i come rolling up to red light, minding my own business. Not paying any attention to the car beside me, but i know its there. Light turns green, i roll off slow, normal, nothing crazy. Then all of a sudden i hear this supercharged v8 get on it. I look right over and its an old ass dude in a 96 Impala SS. Me and Brandi are liek holy shit its an old guy. He looks over at us and guns it, of course so do I. He got the jump on me. Took all of second gear to get a nose ahead of him(stupid boost leak) get it in third, look over at him and he has this big ass grin on his face. We let go and i gave him a thumbs up. Thought it was the coolest shit ever.
