Default 1989 Conquest vs. 1999? Impreza 2.5 RS

alright, well - I was on my way back from Walmart and was really hungry, so I was at a light, bumping out to DJ Pulse ( Wherever You Go vs. Superman, download it, its awesome ), when I heard this deep growling sound. Now mind you, I was in my own world, so I seriously thought it was stomach just growling at me. I was that hungry, and I could see TacoBell up ahead and was like till I heard it again... this time hitting a rev limiter with a fwashhhhttt of a BOV. What the hell?!?! My stomach doesnt have a BOV.... Looking over to my left, there's this pretty spiffy white Subaru Impreza RS, with the loud obnoxious BOV, some killer rims, with some guy driving it, with his girlfriend riding shotgun ( I'd hit it ). He kept motioning me to do a run whatever, asshole. He kept revving and making the BOV going off, trying to egg me on. Wouldn't give in. Then his hot girlfriend stepped into play. Now, pardon my french, but I qoute... " oh c'mon you pussssyyy, are you afraid that your little piece of shit ugly ass hatchback doesn't have big enough balls to take this on?! awww... what a fucking loser.". That seriously got me roused up . I gave her the middle finger and revved back. It was ON like DONKEY KONG! Recalling my launching experience in my neighborhood, I brought the rpm's up to 3000, holding it steady. You could tell the guy in the Scooby was getting nervous. Especially when the other light went yellow. The red. We got the green I literally dropped my clutch while punching the gas pedal all the way down - and I tell you this - an AWD Scooby will launch better than a RWD old school thats suffering a loss of traction ( for proof visit the 316/Buford Drive intersection ). By the time my Quest gained traction, he was about one car length ahead. Not for long. The rpm hit 3500 and the 16g kicked in, screaming the tach up to 8000 rpms in a second . And we were side by side Yanked into second gear, which was short and quick thanks to a nice little short shift kit, and blipped the throttle for a small clutch kick and advanced past the Scooby. Shifted into 3rd - 85mph. This was going pretty damn fast. And my TacoBell was approaching even faster. I had to beat this guy before that TacoBell. Already a car length ahead and pulling, shifted into 4th to blast past 110, hit my brakes in a victory call and both of us had to come to a screeching halt to the red light. Right in front of my TacoBell The guy seriously had a Kodak Moment face of WTF?!?!?!?! The girlfriend was just laughing her ass off. And I got myself a steak grilled stuffed burrito.

2.5 rs arent turbocharged. there is one i've seen on sugarloaf on and off with a fake BOV. and a turbocharged one that only made 169awhp thats also in the area (close enough to a completely stock WRX)

    regardless, thats a funny story

hm. I'm just assuming thats what the thing was. At least what it looked like. I'm pretty sure it was boosted though ( almost 100% positive ) unless it has a relaly built n/a engine with a fake bov... but.. uh... that makes no sense lol
