Get out of my thread with your junk tricycle!!!
Hey zosick you should look into going down to houston for tx2k12, there are some serious cars out there and they all run lol the bad news is that its in like 2 weeks lol
FOR THE FAST GUYS:
I am doing the April event at Wilmington: http://www.ecta-lsr.com/
and Texax Mile in October: http://www.texasmile.net/
it's a drag race for those of us that have cars that pull all the way to the end of 6th:yes:
I shoule be trapping around 165-170MPH on this motor. :idb:
Hmm what would this be equivalent to for a street car 1/4th?
pull all the way to sixth and only 170.... :lmfao:
Ill be going to the april 24 event at Carrabelle Speed Festival - www.wannagofast.com
that's what makes these events fun. A legit 11 second car can get killed or kick ass, it depends on the gearing, powerband, and traction. Ger it for top end, you bog out of the hole. Gear it for the holeshot, you peak out before the end. It's pretty tricky to calculate. TT C5Z06s are in the 170-180 range. Over 160, aerodynamics comes into play as well. It takes a lot of power to push a car quickly from 140-170. Get a light car (I am at 2914 with cage) and you must let off throttle very carefully at 170.
Figured it was the m3...and yea aero is huge on the topside. You should throw a ginormous spoiler on it
You should race zosick from a 100 roll lol
This is what was on it, I have a lower one now on a CF trunk....

I'd try it some time just for fun. It pulls pretty hard from 100-180. I won't go over 180 without the wing though, it gets very squirrelly. (1000lb springs + light car) I have run a few 600's from a 60-80 roll with unknown rider skills and done pretty well. I ran a literbike from an 80 roll and did OK, but not as well obviously.
LMAO 100 ROLL
[QUOTE=ZOSICK;39378924]LMAO 100 ROLL :thinking:[QUOTE]
Double post....
I agree, thats why I have multiple trunks and hoods. I am too old for the wing thing.

Haha how many points does your cage have to have to compete in these events...and in this particular racing id prefer to have the spoiler lol
x3!!!
I am building my s2k up right now. The project is centered around track racing, so its a 450whp supercharged set up. I dont think I would be very competitive in this race, but as before, my selfesteem is so low, that I realy dont mind losing.
I see drift purpose built cars compete in drag racing so I figure why not throw a track car in the mix.
Good looking car Tnomud! :goodjob:
The new owner picks up the Cobra on Sunday so count me out of this list haha. No more fun runs for me.
yea i want to take my s2k to the track here soon just to see what it can do....and the fact ive never driven a rwd car down the track.
Be very careful, and i dont mean driving down the track. Just dont launch it hard at all and you would be amazed at what a hard launch is in a stock s2k lol. Dont snatch second to hard either, the axles are the first weak link and ive broken one snatching 3rd on the highway lol
Yea i dont plan on launching hard, just ride the clutch a little bit. I full throttle shift 1-2 and 2-3 shifts
