We dont beleive its a Turbo problem due to the motor has always smoked since day 1 of his build(we didnt build it), and after 1 rebuild on another turbo, the symptoms are the same. I beleive it was improper piston to wall clearance and/or too big of a ring gap.

But we are goign to rebuild the turbo for him first at his request to see if it will fix his "oil consumption" problems.

IMO, a b16 with rods an pistons and a STOCK intake manifold at 10-12psi shouldnt be making over 300whp. Usually 1.8l make that much, not 1.6l. i really hope seth invests in a JG manifold, there is prob a good 20-30whp + gain with less boost in its design

Haha, AD your funny. I already plan to upgrade my intake manifold and build the head. Since I changed my oil feed line from a -4 to -3 line i haven't been smoking. Although the turbo is a need for a rebuilt as I already told Charles the details when I pulled it out the week before. 1
