Just an observation, the coupe has a 02-04 type s tranny and 15" wheels, should cause 4th to run out around 117 or 118. and he was pretty deep in 5th, so I'd say 130-135 when they let out.Quote:

Im running low 12s mike with a stock 5 gen prelude gearing . Look it up but im sure the car could trap over 160 lol the gearing is terrible but its a dailey. i do agree with the 4.9 final in the new set up it would run out mph . I cant wait to get jasons car together then finish my new build . All this shit talking has me kinda hyped up then again some of it gets on my nerves and makes me wonder how old some of these people are . I like to get along with everybody so i want name names lol.
I do agree that lets say jason (the guy i built the motor for that should be pretty stout ) came on here acting like a few of the people on here do that (even though he is a good friend and i built his car )i would have no problem telling him how big if a prick he was being even if it made him think i was a ass hole just saying.

I cant count the number of times someone that i was building a motor for called and said man we cant do that i read that was wrong. I then preceed to tell them stop reading shit from people that dont know what there talking when ive already done it before. I feel like a none gutted 2,480 pound si hatch running low 12s is fast could it faster yes but if i lose im not going to say wait till i gut it or go h2b ,im just going to say good race man my dad drives the car everyday so this is how we choose to leave it. Im no talking bad about your car but if its not running 11s with that power then its slow simple as that . Im glad at all the interest in the allmotor scene . I hope everybody shows up for import showdown and if anybody wants to know just how slow our cars are read on honda tech sometimes. Its just to hard to get it to the ground ( after that point with out slicks) so yes its not that hard for a car making 30 less hp to win on the street traction is everything. Mikes crx was fast and im sure it was faster with the super charger and lower final but ive never heard him just go on and on about how much faster it was with the super charger and lower final because ther is just so much power you can use on the streets.
In a normal race mike (im sure you raced the same cars with and with out the super charger and lower final ) how many car lenghts difference you think 10 pounds and a lower final helped you win by ? Just trying to show how much you have to do to get so little especaily on the street with no traction.
Mike, I love the DOT tire comment, I have DOT tires, never ran the 1/4 in this car.. BUT it seen the 1/8, went 8.12@88 with a crap 60ft of the trailor.. No air pressure drop (32psi) that was the first ever pass 4yrs ago, My car has never seen slicks!!! If you really know anything then you see where I'm going with this.. ;)

There you go down playing again lol. If it ran that it was hooking weither it had air pressure adjustment or not. That should have been a good pass since you have plenty of air in the tires and still hooked . Ive ran mid 12s with that 1/8 mile with flat slicks killing my trap on the other end . Unless b series dont pull like h series on the other end of the track that should have been a nice pass mid 12s for sure unless its been so long since ive made a pass that im forgetting my 1/8 mile times. Im pretty sure i was varely breaking 8.9 1/8 with a stock h22 and now im high 7s so yea that sounds about right . Mid 12s at 110mph that pass just guessing so what does it run?
hell ive never broke a axle on slicks and poped a 400hp axle on dragg radials last spring at import show down . I never got a good pass with dragg radials because my gearing already sucks and the drag radials are way taller then my slicks but the trapped out real good. I think i ran like a 12.7 at 112 on drag radials ill have to look.

For the first 3 years when Luis had the hatch, we were always 100% open about the setup and what it had. every video posted had all the details.
then it wasn't until he got more involved with the guys here on IA that all this drama and secretive stuff started. haha
So I've posted recently in other forums and sure word travels so some people already know but the hatch has a set of toda a3 cams in it. maybe not the best cam for a K20 but they seem to be on par on top end power at least. again I think dyno #s are just dyno #s so I don't want to get into that.
I plan on being there for import showdown, and since everyone in ATL who gives a damn will be there or know someone who will be there, there's no point in me being secretive about what the car runs. My best ET so far at commerce was a 12.24, best trap 111.8. those were all with 1.75-1.77 60' times though. I went back to commerce after sorting some things out, cut a 1.67 60' but missed a gear, then busted an axle the next run :)
I hear silver dollar is usually a tenth or two quicker than commerce so if I can cut a 1.6x down there I'll be shooting for an 11.9x. not sure if it'll do it though.
