going to have lots of people watching.
that's how I roll
Tell me exactly how at a sanctioned event, are you going to line up w/ a car that is in a different class and pull this off?
besides that, if I'm there I'll be NA.
I'll do test and tune
i got CDL's and i don't wanna risk losing them. i don't do the street period.
Post IFO event rules, link to event Plz!!
I think I see what is going on here... it's not even a nissan motor in the s13. Let me put the same turbo on the hatch and then we'd have a race.![]()
Didn't you tell 112480 to tell me you would run me from a dig for 500. You also knew before hand what engine I have. Now it seems like you're surprised about what I have. To be real about the situation is that you called me out but I just brought it to the forum. Let me know if you wanna run or not
I sent you a PM... 112480 seems to have left out some details. A coincidence? hmm.
I have a good idea of what my car is and isn't capable of, and I don't know much about your car. So I'd be crazy say "yeah let's run", and then show up at the track to be met by a 600+rwhp slicked up beast.
Read it and still you

First of all I never gave any specs on my car. Moseley doesn't know if it's a high hp beast or not. He called me out and he never asked me anything about my car at all. I wasn't there when he and 112480 was discussing the callout. I just got the message that he would run me for 500. So you need to have your info correct before you open your trap up dickface.![]()
Ill put my dick in your face fuckin smart ass I really don't care what you got just wondering why a rwd turbo car would call out a na fwd car and it don't matter what circumstances its underand you wanted to get smart...

lmao i was wondering why else they would call it a 75 shot if it didn't give you 75 hp. yes there are variations, but it's usually pretty close.
Who knows?
How many of you have actually dynoed nitrious? Kinda what I though most you idiots think you can buy a single fogged kit put a fifty shot on it and automatically have fifty more hp and it don't work that way... just bc the nitious chart tells you to put size a fuel and size b in nitrious for a city shot does not mean you will get fifty hp... although david88 is right for example I had an allmotor setup that made 237 to the wheels and with a zex kit and what they would call a 100 shot only made 279 which really only means that it's a 42 shot so unless you have done it yourself shut up.. its like right now I have a "150 shot" on my turbo car and does this mean I got 150 more hp across the bored??? I only wish it were that easy if so I would just buy a d series stock and put a 500 shot on it and replace the motor every other event

Lnitrous can add a lot of power depending on how big of a stage(s) you want to shoot.[/QUOTE]
This is very true on v8s the actual "shot" is close in hp on a fogger system but still even on some of the guys I hang around with promods will tell you that even on there cars just cause u put a 500shot on it does not mean you get 500hp... if the car is built for it you will get close but not exact
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
A fogger system as you are talking about is utilized differently with a pro mod. Most of the pro mods are shooting more than 500 shot, and if utilizing a nozzle, it is in the intake directly pointing at the valve - not like most street cars.
It doesn't matter what motor you are spraying - a 100 shot is 100 hp. If you get 78 hp, then you are shooting an 78 shot. Different bottle and fuel pressures can affect it, as well as humidity. Its easy to just give a rounded number, which is what most people do.
And yes, I have spent a lot of time testing nitrous on the dyno with many cars. Everything from single .018 jets on up to multi-stage.

No need in arguing both of you have a point and know what each other mean .If yaw want to try to explain it these guys that no nothing about nitrous then explain to them that it doesnt matter how big of a shot they put on it if the motor isnt getting the air to support it . If you sprayed a 500 shot on a d series you couldnt tunn it because it want take the air to support a 500 shot. Yes a 50 shot does mean 50hp if it has the mods to support it which would probably be nothing for a 50 shot . There are so many things that have to do with weither you get the actual 50hp out of a 50 shot that its not worth arguing about . Its the difference in somebody doing it right and somebody just threwing a kit on a car simple as that.

actually, on a k-series, a 75 shot could make more than 75whp... Just an fyi...
so when you order a 100 shot from 5 different manufacturers and you get a .044 pill, an .045 pill, two .046 pills and an .047... which one is the 100 shot?![]()
It would depend on your fuel pressure, bottle pressure, fuel jet size, and nitrous jet size.

Thats my point there are alot of factors to how much hp each shot will be on your car . I agree i have heard that the k series head flows so good that people are making more then 50 hp on a 50 shot but that just means its not a 50 shot its a 60 shot on there car . As stated that depends on bottle pressure blah blah blah. I know a few people spraying with the line stuck in the intake with no pill lol what shot is that ? lmao. how much is a 50 shot on a turbo car ? 100hp? There is no need in arguing this fact and untill you get on a dyno and you make 50 more hp then its not a 50 shot lol its approximately a 50 shot.Thats like saying 20 pounds of boost makes 400hp were it might make that on this car but more on that car just to many variables in there although it is closer with nitrous and a 50 shot will give you around 50hp depending on the setup.About ten years ago we were right above valdosta at that track and we running low 11s . In the final race the dude steven was racing was a little faster and steven had 50 shot (already making 600hp ) on his car that he had never sprayed . A couple weeks before that a buddy of his borrowed his pill out of the number four cylinder and his dad bolted everything back together with no pill . This got forgotten about till the last race this day when he decided he needed to spray to win lol. All i saw was smoke from the antifreeze about 100 feet from the finish line when he almost blow the head off the car lol. It still ran a 10.9 and won lol. The number four cylinder took a nice beating though.

Lol that's my kinda luck and your right... turbo is like nitrious so many variables some peoples car make like 300 on 13 to 15 psi while mine makes well over 500 or like the 1/4 mile calculator works some people have 800hp and run tens while others have 500 running well into the tens its all like a puzzle and you got to have all the pieces that fit together to have the perfect picture in the end
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Don't get hung up on the hp from a shot of nitrous. Concentrate on turning the number where it matters - at the track. You can make a lot of power, and not run the time. Concentrate on running the time, then the hp number doesn't matter much.

thats true... in my book hp is only a number
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thats right the time is all that matters period.
