I agree 5 or 15 miles an hour will make no difference in who wins the race he pulled from you the whole time . also what is there to set up unless you changed your gearing in your transmission ? i like your car its a realy nice build but mosely car is faster simple as that . I realy cant beleive he beat you as bad as he did with the power your puttin out. I mean the differnce in two car lengths at the track is going from a 13.5 to a 12.5 thats alot man and with out changing your gearing nothing is going to change so give him credit for setting his car up right its running real good. I will say there is also some h2b coming soon that want be no joke either and there plenty of new resources in the h22 world its no were near played out. I might have to bring out the ole grocery getter for some fun runs .i like this boss talk lol gets me motivated if only the grocery getter was h2b . I think it will hang in there with the ole f20b trany maybe we will see what it wil do against the k2 before i put the new set up together.
On a serious note both of you have very nice set ups, neither one is a dyno queen, but untill you change your tranny or get tunned on the bottle mosely car is way faster man not just a little bit . i read were somebody said the race seemed short ( it did to me to) but he still put car lengths on you thats strong that race was no were close to being a close racer . Ill back mosely on any race you want with him (motor to motor) just buy watching the video. Im not trying to be a dick . I just realy want you to get your car right because it has a nice motor in it. It takes more then the motor to get from point a to point b. Hell the first thing i did was build my 4.9 b16 trany with a gsr fourth and a ls fifth because that will make just as much difference as a high hp motor does. Im sure you will get faster just dont think because you make more power you should have been faster or that it must be the wear yaw started at or something like that as to why his car was faster because its not . Its just how its set up . I want to know at any time during the race did your car start pulling back on mosely car ? If not you dont have a chance simple as that ive raced enough to know. I dont know mosely at all . Ive never seen his car . I have my own car so im not a nut swinger . Im just stating facts so maybe you will take it to heart and start changing stuff (gearing in tranny ) in order to get the most out of your motor thats all. Id realy like to see what that car is realy capable of.
mike, it is a BIG difference in 5 speed vs 6 speed with the K-series. The 30 more hp i make over moseley is not enough to make up for the difference in the trannys. PLUS, lastnight i didnt know my "sweet spot" but moseley knew his. I was at 5000rpm in second when most likely he was at 6500rpm. Dont worry though we will do it again from a 50 roll where i'm at 6500rpms and i promise u the outcome WILL BE DIFFERENT. U guys keep saying 5 more mph isnt gonna make a difference, but i'm talking about rpm range NOT mph. the rpm range in me doing a 40 roll and a 50 roll WITH A 5 SPEED TRANNY IS A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!! but like anything else i guess i have to show u rather than tell you.Quote:

You guys are fucking morons, I didn't even have it up past 25 psi at Import showdown running 10.1 4 times in a row busting up at the top end. I make 830+ at 35+ psi. I don't have to explain myself, My ass is the one around here making it to the races 99.9% of the time. I won't learn anything from Youtube, People think its so easy but NOBODY in this area has done it in 5+ YEARS. People doing it with less power are weighing in at 2100 lbs and doing it at prestigious tracks like E-Town where a 10.1 car will instantly run a 9.6...I've actually been there so i know this for a fact. Youtube doesn't tell you all of the facts that I ALREADY KNOW. Im going to make a big FUCK YOU video this year when I work my issues with the busting up....Its funny..none of the guys WHO ACTUALLY RACE talk any shit to me about my 10.0 of death....NONE OF THEM.

C'mon man. I know your car must feel a lot faster when you start in your sweet spot, but here's the thing about the 6speed. It's hard to ever catch it very far out of its sweet spot. The 3rd run probably didn't get posted b/c I couldn't get the camera to focus right on that run and I'm not sure you could really see anything. I think you guys did start at a little higher speed b/c I was trying to tell you at the light that you were starting too low in your RPM range. That, I believe, was conveyed to Moseley who started the next run from a little higher MPH. The outcome was the same though. He nosed up and you never passed him. To be honest, you won't have a chance of passing him unless you guys run up to 130+mph or so.Quote:
