say your 2nd gear goes 70mph @ 8500rpm. you want to do a 45 roll? you're starting at 5400rpm, you want a 50 roll? you're starting at 6000rpm.
now take your dyno graph and look at your torque numbers at each of those RPMs. I would bet that with a 2.4L you are making less torque at 6000 than you are at 5400. If not, then your build is lacking some serious midrange power.
so anything you are perceiving to be a BIG difference is probably just in your head. a 2.4L should pull harder at 5400rpm than at 6000rpm.
Remember y i told u i did the 5 speed instead of the 6spd?

To be honest, changing the starting mph isn't going to drastically change the outcome of the run. What it will do is takeaway some of the advantage moseley's hatch has on the start. Meaning he won't instantly pull past your car.LOL! I dont think so! I wouldnt bet on it
