Honda does not produce a production vehicle that makes 500hp. Period. They do not offer a warranty on a 500hp vehicle. Ford does. You can buy it right now.

Ford's 4cyl Fiesta is CHEAPER than Honda's Fit. The Mustang V6 is cheaper than the cheapest Accord V6. Please explain how they are not affordable.
The Fiesta offers more in it's 4cyl than the Honda Fit, in terms of cost and performance.

The Civic and the Focus both make 140hp.
Only the Civic SI makes more - 197hp, with the Fusion at 175hp. Of course, you can get the Fusion with a 3.0L v8 making 240hp for less cost than the Civic SI.

Ford's management - the ones that did not keep the union costs down - do not design the cars, nor turn the wrenches.
