no they are not all windsors. The only motor with the term windsor in its name is the "351 windsor". People get them confused with the windsor family of engines vs the cleveland/FE/M but when i speak of having a windsor its a 351W based motor...not a 302,289,260 whatever....the ones that were built at the windsor, ontario engine plant. Its kind of confusing if you don't know Fords.
no, i think you are wrong.
all of the small blocks are referred to as WINDSORS.
The only one that gets the "W" after it is the 351W.
because it must be differentiated from the "351C".
Because of the all of the Ford engines, it is the only engine that was built in both small and large block configuration.
as you know 351w is a small block and the 351C or "cleveland" is a big block.
People that do not know fords?
HA
You do not know me, so dont make comments about my knowledge of "Fords"

If you are still confused here is a link to discussion of
"The ford windsor engine family"
http://www.network54.com/Forum/119417
as far as " engines that were produced at the windsor ontario plant"
that plant is still in operation, and currently builds 4.6 and 5.4 engines..
also still in operation is the Romeo plant, located in Romeo Michigan.
that plant was opened in 1973 and currently builds 4.6 and 5.4 engines, including the 3v, 4.6 for the 05 mustang gt, and the supercharged 5.4 for the Ford GT.
i would rather talk about your turbo 351, than give a Ford History lesson.
so whats up, what combination? what vehicle is it going into?

trust me man if you were in ford circles no one calls a 260,289,and 302 a windsor. I don't care how many forums you show me. If someone says i have a windsor in my car its usually a 351W.
A 351 cleveland is NOT a big block. The only big blocks ford made are the 429 and 460. A cleveland and a windsor are the same cubic inches but are different. Maybe since you are ford expert you can tell me the difference between them?
yes, they discontined the 351w a while back when they switched over to the modular engines. The name 351 windsor was due to the Windsor plant building the engine vs the 351 cleveleand which was build at the Cleveland,OH plant.
