if its trapping that high, i GUARANTEE nitrous is on that car, no 350Z with a 10 psi kit is running 12.2s@126mph. sorry, tuned a bunch of them.

A birdie told me that a nitrous kit was being put on the 350Z as well last week, so that would expalin alot

the car was at my house for the past week and i can tell you there is and never was any nitrous on this car.its running a bolt-on twin turbo kit at 10 lbs. the motor is completly stock,doesn't even have a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator....if you think you know so much about this car mike, i'll put 1000 cash up that there is no nitrous and never has been nitrous on this car.we'll go back to the track and run it again,after you do a complete inspection...so put a G up and lets get this over with.

it not running nit mike, but mike is right about the times, but when shane was going up and down the street trying to act like he was flying a fighter jet. it had a weird smell like race gasssssssssss. that car has passed us before when we sit on the side and has never smelt like that

not sure though because for a Z a 12.2@116 is a pretty good et to mph. I would have to say that would be a full slick tire run and i think they were running drag radials at the import showdown and were turning 13.1s-13.2s at 113-114 so either someone got real brave and launched it super hard on some slicks or it IS running that mph with some spray and still leaving easy out of the hole.

At import show down was my first time driving the car it went a 13.22 then a 13.076 then a 13.002, spinning threw third. Now it has some decent tires on it and instead of spinning its going. Not a "full slick tire" a DOT tire.

They had a different driver at Reynolds this time plus different tires, I know that for a fact. Spray on a TT'd Z = BOOM

With that said there are plenty of 350Z's running 11's at 10psi but of course they're not trapping 120+mph.. fastest street 350Z or G35 I've seen on the boards has been around 11.1 @ 122mph and that was a G35.

High trap speeds indicate low 60s, My integra on street tires ran 13.3 at 113 with a 2.6 60ft, same as the Z if it could hook a little better (and it will) it will have a slower trap but faster e.t

I never knew that the trap speed was said to be 126, I have all slips from sat. at my house. This weekend like I said it will be in the 11s, we are still working on the traction issue and I have parts on there way for it. Traction is the only thing keeping it from the 11s.

I never recommended nitrous to the owner, I recommended a sprayer that was all, I woulnd want to fell responsible for there motor blowing. They're not decided so all Im doing it working on the chaisis to get it to hook better and a shifter cause the factory knob slips right off, which is a bad design.

agreed on the shifter knob, it slipped out of my hands so many times at the track, i have tried a bunch of them with same outcome, its just the sitting position in the Z and length of the shift lever and driver height that fight against each other i would say, finally i found an S14 shift Nismo leather knob, they sell em at nissan dealers, i beleive their price is dropped down to 79.99, it looks good, its light (counterweight is retarded on a Z) and it makes throws so much shorter than the unnecessarily tall stock knob, as dumb as it sounds.. its one of the most driver effective mods for the Z. tell susan to ask to see it when i see her again. we'll trade knobs for a bit see how they like it.

I have already orderd a shifter and a Knob, I ordederd the nismo knob it was about 60 or so, it has a bolt on the top that hold it in place.

Someone called me and told me they were THINKING about putting nitrous on the car, THEN, it runs .8 seconds FASTER in the 1/4 mile and posts a 126mph (EASY 11 second territory) and they said all they added was tires. hmm, sounds JUST LIKE A NITROUS CAR TO ME.

I only declined to run SHANE when he said his integra was NOT ON THE BOTTLE when clearly it WAS on the bottle. everyone vouched that it was on the bottle, and he himself has SAID it was on the bottle in this thread.
so when i asked to run him motor to motor, he said sure, i said NO SPRAY and pop your hood, he wouldnt let me. so of course i said no. When someone says they will race motor to motor for moeny, but has a history of spraying anyways, that aint my cup of tea. Hugo called HIM OUT to race for money and shane backed down. so dont try to act all F&F and say ita about money.

I know shane, i have met him, and hes a nice guy. but he owes my friend $150 still for tuning, and he has a history that many people will agree with as less than honest when it comes to racing and money.
