    I want to run you again, i ended up going to a hydro tranny with a 4.9FD and want to see what the difference is now with our gearing being closer together.

    I don't think he knows about this callout but I'll let him know... if he has any new mod it'll be a new set of tires. The tires he ran on last time were the same set he's had since that swap was done 3 years ago. He was spinning almost all the way through 3rd...

    From 13-15 seconds is his 4th gear vs. your old 3rd gear. Your old 3rd gear is actually a shorter ratio than his 4th since you are reving higher and he still pulled almost a full car length in that gear. That means he had a pretty big power advantage. Even if your new ratios are similar to his... I think you'd need more power to have anything for him.
