How so? It doesn't spool until 5K?

a smaller turbo would spool faster than a large turbo.......takes more to spin a big one, thats why when you see big single turbo cars running it takes a second for the power to build hence having a large turbo and it taking a little bit longer to get the power to the ground

Ok, I see what you're saying. Maybe it does spool up ok... I'm just used to a supercharger

but it's a 26 year old 4.5l ... not much to get the thing spinning
