many rsx-s with the cc stage 4 clutch has had their stock oem cmc go out.. The em2 has a better design and seems to hold up well with the heavier pressure plate..

Axix, you should just ditch the freaking competition clutch. I have almost 190k miles on my factory clutch master cylinder with no issues and I've had upgraded clutches for 70k of that. My trans doesn't balk at all with 9-10k shifts.

The other thing you need to consider is going to a heavier duty trans fluid. OEM weight trans fluid does not cut it with a 400whp motor. I use the mobil1 75w-90 gear lube in my trans. For comparison, the OEM honda fluid has a viscosity of 10-11 cSt and the mobil1 has a viscosity of 14cSt. It's a bit thicker, which is very necessary on a high HP car. Mobil1 75-90 is good, but you can also try the redline MT-90. You really want a fluid with a cSt of around 14-15 in there.

I hope its air in the line b/c dropping a tranny consists of me taking the turbo off and subframe and etc.. UGH... If it was air in the line, I just bled it and filled up with new fluid. But since its been raining nonstop for the past 3 days, I doubt boosting up to 8k in the rain is too smart.. LOL

Chunky, I am running Amsoil MTF and its bad-ass.. No OEM BS.. I had oem bs in there last month and i always had a 3rd gear wall.. When I changed it instantly to Amsoil MTF, it went away..

Even if it was the Tranny Fluid, why would it only not go into gear at high rpms like 7900-8300 while shifting hard at 6-7k is fine?

My car weighs 2200lbs, his car weighs 3000LBs according to google. So 800lbs difference, does that make up for 150+whp disadvantage? AWD? I dont think so.

70 MPH = 3914 RPM
80 MPH = 4473 RPM
90 MPH = 5032 RPM
100 MPH = 5591 RPM

Top Speed in 1 gear = 37.567 MPH
And changes into 2 gear at 5214 RPM dropping 2786 RPM
Top Speed in 2 gear = 57.645 MPH
And changes into 3 gear at 5541 RPM dropping 2459 RPM
Top Speed in 3 gear = 83.225 MPH
And changes into 4 gear at 6074 RPM dropping 1926 RPM
Top Speed in 4 gear = 109.614 MPH
And changes into 5 gear at 6128 RPM dropping 1872 RPM
Top Speed in 5 gear = 143.092 MPH

Thats without my 4.9 FD thats with a 4.7. So as you can see, no fucking way. And 5th is an OD highway gear.
