no i still have 4.10. i go into 4th at track. 4th tops out around 160mph for me.. i make enough tq and hp where 4th is not a big issues for me, but 5th and 6th slow me down considerably.

That's definitely an interesting tranny. I don't think that I would have thought to done it that way.

When my 5 speed breaks, it's going auto. Much less to worry about for me.

Do you have a way to load the turbo when you are at the line? I.E. - AEM, line lock, etc?

For you, I would only consider the TH400 - fully built. You need something seriously strong, and it has the reputation for being reliable. Only downside to it is that it has no OD.

For me, I will go with a built AOD later. I need the OD, as mine is just a street car.

i am going built 350. supposed to handle 1300HP. then i can add a OD gear to the end of the tranny for street use...hehe

I've got a pretty built TH350 in my Impala. Put it in after the Powerglide wore out. It won't handle more than 600hp though. You will have to sink some money in to go to 1300hp capable.

I still have my PG here if I want to go all out race.....
