Less talk, more running. IMO, why not run him on street tires? Why is it so offensive to run a handicapped race? If running on streets isn't your style, then why don't you drop him a counter offer with a different sort of handicap? Spot him two car lengths. You don't have to worry so much about hooking, and it still makes for an interesting race.
