    Some people might say that 120 is way too early to let off when racing from a roll, unless you are just walking away. close races like the one i had other people might keep going up in higher speeds , but the location is a key factor. i was not on the highway so traffic lights come up mighty quickly. yea i do agree with you, get up there quickly and shut it down.

    A good rule of thumb is 100mph race. So whichever speed you start from, you add 100 to that and shut down at that speed.

    People rarely do that though, it's usually a 60 - 80mph stretch. I like going longer just because I have tall gearing and want to spend SOME time in my power band heh
