Stock 5.0's make very little power until the later models but then they didn't make that much.

yeah 87-88 didnt have maf i dont believe(dont quote me on it) they had dense air or someting then in 89 they swapped to maf and mine with exhaust and underdrive pullies should have been in the 13s but due to traction issuses ran 14s at the track...on the street though it was stout... but there are still slow ones we bet one in a 1500 silverado from a dig one night quite funny...good job
