I have been reading on the Corvette forums, and even though the Z06 has a dry sump, it's kind of a budget dry sump. So still better than wet sump, yet not as good as a dry sump that racers use. I also noticed a lot more particles on the magnet on the plug when I changed my oil. So until it gets checked, I really don't know how severe the problem is.....but the signs all indicate that I have damaged the bearings, which has happened to other Z06s under similar conditions.
Well damn looks like you nailed it on the head because messed up bearings is usually related to oil starvation...I'll fix up these posts for you too...
