    Default Callout to Evolunchbox

Steele rescheduled the charity Import vs Domestics race to may 17th. Me and you on drag radials should be near the top of qualifiers for our sides. I got big weight and cubes vs your lower weight and cubes....lets do this!!

Anyone else interested should really try to make this as it is a charity race for cancer. here is the info:

    FWD cars can use slicks!!

Location: Alabama International Dragway Steele AL.
Time: Gates open at 1. If you are headed I-59N please meet at the Texaco off of exit 154 around 12:15-12:20 for some photos and rolling shots.
Rules: Every participant must drive to the track. You can bring a trailer but only for back up purposes.Working on a deal to have ABC Towing there offering free tows to anyone who breaks. All cars must have current tag and insurance. No foreign engine swaps. .500 pro tree. No tube chassis cars. No wheelie bars. FWD can use slicks. RWD and AWD must be on a DOT metric tire non wrinkle wall 28" tall limit for the race portion of the event. Example 275/40/17 can be used. 26X10X16 can not. Please tell anyone that you mentioned the race to.Everyone who wishes to participate will make at least 1 qualifying pass. The top 13 from each side will then be paired up and race each other. The 13ths quickest import will race the 13th quickest domestic, 12 vs 12 etc. Quicker qualifier of the match up gets lane choice. This event will not take up the entire track time. Qualifying passes will run between normal test and tune. It does not cost anything extra to participate in this event. Once everyone has qualified then the top 13 will have the track to themselves. If there are only 10 of one side participating then there will only be 10 match ups.

Sponsors: We are asking for $100 minimum to help sponsor this event. Checks will be made to American Cancer Society and are tax deductible. The money is not needed until the end of May. Another way you could donate can be based on which side wins the most races. You could donated $20 for each domestic or import win. There will be 13 races total.

We will have event t shirts as well as a NOS dry kit raffle. $5 a ticket or 3 for $10. You do not have to be present to win. Drawing will be held after the race.

Not to thread jack, but were you on 75 south yesterday around 1:30 or so.

Phil that would be awesome!!!!!!! Based on the times I have seen so far, Evolunchbox would be the fastest import....of course I dont know who else might show. Gary might bring a Supra and beat us all down

Phil you got me to thinking I need to check/change my plugs....just too lazy.

Cool Nick. The alabama guys always seem to be really outclassed by some h/c domestics so it would be nice to see guys like u and Phil come over there and inflict some pain on some egos.
Me and Nick would be a great race!!! We will sooner or later I am sure. I couldnt lose to a nicer guy.
