Thacker's Camaro vs. 2005 Procharged Mustang GT

I ran the Orange, procharged mustang. He was on 18" Nittos, I was on 15" Hoosier QTP's.
2005+ Mustang, Procharger, 460rwhp
2000 Camaro SS - 411 RWHP, on motor - no juice
We have this run on video, from a dig. We both tried out the pimp juice and we both had disasterous results. He laid about 70 feet of rubber and I laid about 90 feet, and then another 20 after hitting second gear.

Even with my car spinning,my car moved out faster than his and I pulled about 3-4 cars before we shut them down. I also got the hit. Not intentionally just because he was asleep. I think he was nervous, I don't blame him really.


I also ran 03COBRA8vR in his 03 Cobra from a 45 - 120 pull. On our best run when I actually heard him honk he pulled 1.25 cars from 45-125. His car makes anywhere between 500-520 rwhp with the ported blower so I was happy to stay within reason of his bumper.

I would actually like to see Thacker race a COMPARABLE car that is setup like his, instead of all these stock suspension mustangs he is racing. Having the HP is one thing, but it dosn't do any good unless they have the suspension to go with it! This race still prove's nothing!

well kyle called him out on its-stock so if that race goes down it will be 2 pretty much evenly built cars except kyle is on stock internals and i believe has suspension! place your bets!

The Cobra he raced had a race suspension...but the driver refused to go from a dig.

Thacker ended up winning the race that the Cobra owner wanted.

thacker will never run kyle. He never had a chance in hell against kyles last set-up, and a few of us knew what the z28 really ran. know with this new set-up it would be pointless of thacker to run him!

If you think about it, Thackers car is a "streetable racecar" as to where the mustang is a "true daily driver". I guess thacker has to outrun "something"???
I will have a true streetcar for Thacker to race in a few month's.
A/C, powersteering and all the amenitie's! But I am sure he will puss out, since he know's he would loose. But wait, Thacker has a forged motor, so there should be no excuse for him not to up the spray to make it a good race! But I still say he will puss out!
