it was steele dragway. and i have raced there many times. track prep is all depended on if there are any fast cars there if not they really dont worry about it. and i was just stating the times not lookin for help. next weekend i hope to be runnin slicks, and ill try to get a vid. for yall.

you need the driver mod, not slicks, at this point, learn how to drive it, then stick it

well it was the first time ive launched that car. (on the track) and kept gettin rushed at the line so... but i ran my last car like 50 times down that track and was use to it. this car is still new to me, tryin to work out the kinks in drivin it.

yeah i think the first two cars broke down. i know a civic slung a rod through the oil pan. but i seen you run, i think it was your last one, but you didnt seem to have any traction till mid 2nd gear. (still a fast run)

i understand traction problems. but i dont see how your having them to bad if you only trap 93mph. thats not gonna be enough to get you low 14s unless you can start cuttin 1.7s

this is true 93mph is about a 14.7-14.6 with 2.1 60's imo

i dont care if you only have 140 hp if you dump th clutch from 5000 on the line. youll spin. i had 500whp and was spinning past the 1/8 runnin 13s but with better tires and a little driver mod practice i cut it down into the 11s

I agree. I ran a 14.0 @101 with traction problems, but never did/could I burn through 2nd. Not to mention that was with stock 185/55/14 touring tires. So unless your tires are dryrotted to the point of cracked plastic, I cant see it being a problem.
