well the ls tranny sucks for one, but on top end its fun. i was tryin to launch at 2000 but it didnt seem to work.

^^^ I built up a layer of slim to resist the salt temporarily, but what the fuck kind of jeep did you have?

haha, i had a srt-8 jeep. and about launching at 2000 it might just be how you released the clutch, no idea? if your on small tires that spin but will hook from a roll, ive noticed the slip/drop seems to work well, just have it at about 2500 at the catching point of the clutch and instead of completly dropping just do a fast slip off the line. but who knows just practice youll at least cut a 2.1

it'll get there, fwd is tough and throttle control is a must you got a good combo just need the right street tire and then then slicks for later!!! remember the better you get on street tire at the track the better you'll be on the street with them. also, need to make sure the suspension is setup right and you have no funky camber issues!!!! nothing like having a 235 wide tire up front and only riding on 2 inches of it!! those guys kill me! gl man

^^ i seen your vette up there. so what was you runnin? oh and no camber probs. just need to go to the track a few more times. that was the first run ive made with that car(atleast on the track) ive already beat a 14.1 sec mustang on the street.*cough *cough 6 car lenghts *cough *cough.

Mustang should trap98+ no matter what and you trapped 93 so I call bs

i understand, no tellin what happened i just meant that if he traps 98+ and you pulled 5+ cars you would hafta trap like 104+ and you trapped 93. maybe he missed a gear or somethin. but like stated a wins a win so congrats!

Since the mustang ran 14.1 on the track, and I ran a 14.098 at the track, I would be glad to run. You pulled him by 6 cars, so technicaly you should pull me by 5.96 cars. If I win I'll buy you Wendys. If I lose, I'll fill up your tank and and buy you Wendys. The only stings attached is this would be on video for the other onlookers to view.

Steele... Never been to commerce But did go to SDR about a month ago and had HORRIABLE LUCK ..2 runs in about 5 hours of waiting

gotta get AAAplus!!! it tows either 75 or a 100 miles with the plus at no charge to you 3 or 5 times a year

not to mention free 5 gallon of gas if you run out somewhere, free batt jumps, etc

and only like $29 a year, easy peace of mind

i have triple a plus. i get up to 5 services a year. towes are free up to 200 miles each, and they will bring 5 gallons if you are empty and will send ppl to do lockout service. tire change etc. i love triple a. they have saved me at least 3 or 4 times
