I have a forged 346, but I have not yet put the bottle on it. I've had a lot of problems keeping a good rear in the car since it weighs so much leaving on slicks. I've broken a gazillion 10 bolts and ripped all the welds on my 8.8" 31 splined rear. I was in the process of getting a 9" early this summer until I picked up a couple of wave runners, and put the car on the back burner.

We went riding on the lake today and it's about time to put the ski's back up for the winter

I knew you were famous last night as when I went back up there some were commenting on our race. Basically trying to take away the fact that you and I are about a dead even heat. Then they go on to comment- oh you should run bottle to bottle and he will stomp your car...... I just laughed and agreed. A forged 346 on the bottle vs. a stock 346 on bottle is a hands down contest. I was happy that you and I were able to walk away with good words and a hand shake although I stick with my fender lead....!

We should hook up again as many people are coming out wanting to play it seems. Would be nice to see your car in action once again- running someone else next time though.
Hey marshall there are 2 Trans am's here he can run ones even a girls car Then he can run the HAWK

come on now man....you can only get better when you learn to race from a dig...and I'm sure that your rearend is gonna hold up nicely! I dont know how many times I've done like a 5k-7k drop on my old 8.8 and it never gave out on me. 4.10 can be your own worst enemy too, I went from a 3.27 to a 4.10 and if you dump it all on a 4.10, without good tires, all you do is spin...and if you are making decent power, and have good tires, you still gotta kinda baby it a little....

technically speaking, you have the better advantage at the line....it's alot harder to launch at the line with a steeper gear it takes some finessing.

Since everyone wants to run everyone why don't we make a trip down to reynolds for the street-lethal BS stops here race Oct 16th. I will bring my slicks with me and make some 11 second motor passes and see if this 10 bolts holds out. Nothing like leaving @ 6700 off the line! I'm sure Henry is game for it.

    Jason, Mikey, Conrad, T/A people?

Just get all of the PNR people together to come up and actually "run" their cars and we'll probably have a good turn out?

    Anyone interested?
