    Talking Boosted grey Del sol vs. blown Blk CLK 430 Sat (nopi)

    All I want to know is who was in the boosted gunmetal del sol slammed on slips that we raced up 75/85 Sat through downtown ATL? We were in the black s/c'ed 02 CLK430 benz.....

    Don't exactly know if you're on the boards but you lived in N. GA and this is the only GA based forum I post on! Anyone know of him?

    Basically we were toying around with a seemingly stock evo8 giving him a few jumps on us while passing the airport and we'ed run away from him easily everytime in low rpm 4th ......when we got onto the 85/75 interchange passing by Turner field there was a boosted Gunmetal Del Sol Cruising up and I barely got on it and my Bro gave you the thumbs down......still cruising you came flying past us and gave us a mean mug then we jumped off the exit to go to the Katrina concert at phillips.....

    saw a group of DUBx's (one blue impreza with gold stockers) and 1 champ white Type R following behind him.....

    Did it have black slips? I remember seeing the car up at varsity parked next to skinnys hatch.

    it a LS turbocharge. i think he boosting about 6-8 pound..his trap speed at the track was 100mph..

    Trapping 100 he's in the mid 13s then ehh! We were trapping 105 stock if I remember right. And yes they were 15", maybe 14", black slips.

    My bro hates imports, I'm all into imports, domestics, and Euros as I need to like them to succesfully run my shop in the near future. I merely wanted to know what was done to the car because down in newnan there's basically no one around. I was jumping on and off the gas more towards the Evo and gave the sol one jump and then 5sec later he came flying past. I stopped bringing the Benz out because to get any satisfying runs I have to make 50+ miles trips to N. Atlanta and on a blown v8 that feels like a full tank of gas.

    YES that was a good race with the camaro I just wish my clutch was not shot when we ran mad props on the camaro nice to find some good high way compotition
