the 3 sec 0-60 is an exaggeration right? There's no way he made that claim. I have a similar formula as his car (or what he claims at 2k pounds with 160 hp, I have 160-ish hp and roughly 2150 lbs) but I still know my 0-60 is cresting the mid to high 6s.

My setup is 2050 pounds with what I estimate 170whp (stock is 180hp to the crank, I have a a few bolts ons that are supposed to yield great results), to a B16 tranny (final drive is 4.78 if I remember correctly) and I wouldn't even dream of claiming something that low with slicks on a well prepared track.

Even spinning the tires, the gear is only so long. I can almost guarantee that that car would not hit 60 in first gear and even if you did hit second in the burnout, I'm sure you would not be able to spin them to a speed of 60 seeing as most cars on the road won't hit 60 until they are at the very top of second gear or the bottom of third. Nice setup man, but yeah 3 sec is supercar territory. From the sounds of what you posted, I'd say you're probably getting a decent low 5 sec 0-60 maybe even high 4 depending on your traction.

With slicks it gets traction with no problem, but on street tires 1st and 2nd gear are a joke... 3rd tries to start spinning.

haha thanks man. it cut a 1.7x 60' so there is still room for improvement on street tires. i'll be happy with a low 1.6-high 1.5. i need to set it up to build boost on the line. currently it leaves on just 1 or 2 psix2, by the way, your car was getting out of the hole hard as hell on track day.
